Bible verse: James 4:16-17
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Message
Rejoicing in our boasting or Spiritual pride is one of the most common scenario which can lead any believer to self-annihilation and annihilation of the love of God.

Taking credit to ourselves where the credit belongs to God only is really robbing God of his glory.

But what are the symptoms of rejoicing in one's boasting?
    ●   when you feel a self-complacent joy in view of your worldly prosperity;
    ●   when you look on your worldly prosperity as resulting from your own providence, prudence, economy or goodness, without giving the glory to God as the Author and Giver of every perfect gift;
    ●   When you indulge and/or cherish self-complacency in regard to your spiritual or intellectual attainments;
    ●   whenever you complacently regard yourself as the objects of divine favor;
    ●   when you indulge in self-complacency despite the fact that your worldly prosperity resulted from any dishonesty whatsoever;
    ●   whenever you regard God's favors as a testimony of your own goodness;
    ●   whenever you deny the work and grace of the Holy Spirit;
    ●   whenever you fail to recognize the fact that God works all your goodness in you, your success, prosperity and life;
    ●   when you like Pharaoh declare "Who is the LORD, that I should obey His voice?";

Everything we have comes from God by His grace, therefore we should learn to show appreciation and thanksgiving.

Remember, king Nebuchadnezzar lost his kingdom for rejoicing in his boasting - proclaiming his own greatness (Dan 4:30-33)

Prayer
It is pride and arrogance to exclude God from ones plans and proclaiming ones own greatness; Oh everlasting Father, let there be no circumstance or worldly luxury to prompt me leaving You out of my plans and to change my life style to conform to the world in Jesus name.
Guard my mouth against rejoicing in my boasting and destroy by fire every boasting spirit in me in Jesus name.

Oh Father, let me have a keen concept of the Your purpose in my lives and that purpose should be my rock and confidence in Jesus name.

Bible verse: 1 John 2:15-16 contd
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Message
The love for the world pushes out the love for God, while the love for God pushes out the love which says in the heart that God is unnecessary - lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and boastful pride of life.

If that on which you spend your time and energy, what you dream of, what you are devoted to and that which you set your priority on is of the world then you are carnally minded and cannot love God as you should.

You can not love the world and God at the same time since the world is full of wicked desires, lusts or pleasures, pride, hatred, jealousy, unforgiveness, bitterness etc. while God is Love.

Brethren, we are not to make this world the object of our chief affection; we are not to be influenced by the maxims and feelings which prevail among those who take pleasure in the world.
Instead we are to be consumed with loving God, obeying Him, doing His will and setting our affections on God.

Remember that Adam and Eve fell due to an appeal to the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and boastful pride of life - Eve saw that the tree "was good for food, pleasant to the eyes, desired to make one wise".


Sincerely answering following questions will help you to analyze your current love status for God or the world.
    ●   Is God first in your life?
    ●   Do you serve the Lord wholeheartedly?
    ●   Are you obedient to God's Word
    ●   Are you living in light of eternity?
    ●   What is your chief priority?
    ●   What are you passionate about?
    ●   What is your perspective on?
    ●   Do you live to know God and His eternal love, or live for this world and eternal hell fire?

Prayer
May I not be overcome by lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life in Jesus name.
Oh heavenly Father, I pray that my affection is in the right place - loving You by keeping Your commandments, sharing love as You have requested of me, having a forgiving heart and never to lose confidence in the grace of God in Jesus mighty name.

Bible verse: 1 John 2:15-16

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Message
Those who loves the world do not have the love of God in them.
The love of the world is nothing else than satisfying your carnal desires - lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and boastful pride of life. You think and act out of selfishness, greed, pride, and personal ambitions.
You walk in the world, accept things of the world and you are conformed to the world.

Yes! you have a selfish desire for the things that you do not have and a sinful pride in the things that you do have forgetting that is the Lord that supplied.
And finally the love for the world pushes out your love for God, you forsake His laws and become amenable by the ruler of the world.
Brethren, the only way that you can fight the love of the world is to maintain and grow in your love for God, have knowledge of His Word, live in obedience to His Word and make your love for God the ruling principle of your lives.

Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, do not grant me the slightest opportunity that will influence the love for the world to push out my love for You rather let my love for God pushes out every evil love for the world in Jesus name

Oh Lord, every legitimate natural desires of mine be kept under control and be used in the sphere for which You designed them in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Message
The character of what flows into us directly affects our internal state and affects what flows out of us and inevitably impacting what gets into others around us - the friends we keep, worldly desires, making leagues with the ungodly etc.

You are conformed to the world by what you uncritically digest from the world. And without the knowledge of God's Word and His promises for you, the meditation upon God's Word and the constant exposing yourself to the teaching of the Gospel it will be difficult to renew your mind.

The Word of God is the only tool that has the ability to transform you from the inside out.

Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, I pray for the courage, confidence and boldness to stand firm against ungodly influences that may corrupt me, to stand firm against those who would corrupt my walk with Christ, firm against false teaching, against poor choices in associations in Jesus name.

33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Message
It is said that one rotten apple spoils the whole bushel.
The people you walk with will shape your character but you can be haphazard with your choice of friends.

Note that anyone who doesn't have the knowledge of God, or the Spirit of God don't care or border with whom he associates, what proceeds out of his mouth, what he watches and/or listen to and read.
Every formidable foe has an elaborate communications system in the spirit realm.

Brethren, you are to separate yourself from the world and let your goal and focus be God and eternal life.
Watch with whom you associate, what comes out of your mouth, neither develop friendship with the unspiritual nor make leagues with the ungodly else those evil communications of the world will corrupt your good morals, good behavior, good conduct and you will be conformed to the world.

God gave Solomon wisdom beyond what anybody else ever had yet by evil communications his heart was turned away from God. His wisdom, however great, did not save him from the evil effects of evil communications.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, purify me and mold me against every evil communications; fill me with Yourself and do not allow me to be blind to and unaware of the consequences of evil communications in Jesus name.

I disorganize and disconnect all the communication lines in the camp of the enemy in name of Jesus.

Message
The character of what flows into us directly affects our internal state and consequently affects what flows out of us which inevitably impacts what gets into others around us.

The influential action of bad company causes corruption of the mind and a gradual forsaking of good habits thereby causing you to loose self-control, self-confidence, moral virtue and focus on the Father.
You are continually in the utmost danger of destruction through worshiping of money, individualism, naturalism, sex, comfort and all sorts of worldly passions. Yes! you are on the highway leading to hell fire.

But positive influences help you move nearer to your desired destination, walk in integrity, develop a heart pleasing to God, build trust and confidence in the living God.

Prayer
While focusing on the will of God regarding my life, I pray for a continuous guidance against the powers of negative influence in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, let me be able to contribute to the success of others through my lifestyle by inspiration, encouragement, motivation and godliness in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Numbers 29:1
1 And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.

Message
This is the month of blowing of the trumpets, praising and dancing unto the Lord because those treasures which are hidden from you the last months will be revealed saith the Lord of host.

Yes! this is the month of liberation - liberation from bondage, failures, loneliness, confinement, uncertainties, carelessness, imprisonment, sufferings, unbelief; a month God is releasing His blessings upon His faithful children in great measures.
Guess what! you are counted among those giving testimonies this month.

Devote, therefore, yourself in worship and praise and rejoice in the Lord for He is supplying your need this month according to His riches.

HAPPY NEW MONTH !!

Prayer
Dear Lord, if there is anything that is displeasing to You in my life, I ask that in Your grace You would root it out so that I may live in godly holiness all the days of my life, separated unto You and walking in godly love, giving praises and blowing the trumpets unto you.

I receive unmerited blessings this month as the fear of God and the love of God is my primary motivator for life in Jesus name.
