Father, set my life ablaze with the Holy spirit's fire and quicken me in the name of Jesus

Bible verse: Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children

Lesson
Ignorance ensures the everlasting destruction of the soul.
There's a great failure somewhere - ignorance of God's holiness, justice, truth, promises, commandments, love because we are strictly walking on our own.
God wants to see that failure corrected.

Prayer
Lord, you are the beginning of wisdom and from Your mouth comes understanding and knowledge.
Fill me with the knowledge of your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding in Jesus name.

Tuesday, 5th May 2015
Bible verse: Ephesians 2:18-19
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Lesson
Jesus has brought peace; destroying the walls between us and making his people one in him.
Leave your past behind with its sins and failures and trust wholly and solely in Christ to provide forgiveness, direction, and peace.

Prayer
As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. (Psalm 55:16-17)

Monday, 4th May 2015
Bible verse: 1 John 1:9-10
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Lesson
We are blessed because God will never take our sins into account.
But know that the claim of sinlessness is not only self-deception; it is also blasphemy.

Prayer
Most merciful God, may we humbly learn to present ourselves to thee for pardon and with true repentance implore thy mercy.
Set us free from a past that we cannot change; open to us a future in which we can be changed; and grant us grace to grow more and more in your likeness and image in Jesus mighty name.

Sunday, 3rd May 2015
Bible verse: Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Lesson
God's great love for us is not diminished or terminated by our failures, shortcomings, or sins.
It is not threatened or undermined by all sorts of adversities and not conditioned on our worthiness or our performance.
He has called us according to His purpose.

Prayer
Hold us to You, build and strengthen our relationship with You.
Let us overcome every spiritual powers, challenges, joys, sorrows, tectonic forces and all sorts of adversities designed to separate us from your love in Jesus name.

Saturday, 2nd May 2015
Bible verse: Ezekiel 34:12
As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

Lesson
God will find us even if we are lost.
He will fix what is wrong, comfort and calm, bind up our broken hearts, heal the sick and strengthen them, make us to lie down in green pastures and be our caring Shepherd. We shall know Him and rejoice in that knowledge.

Prayer
By the blood of Jesus Christ I shall not fall into errors & reoccurring evil occurrences in Jesus name.

Friday, 1st May 2015
Bible verse: 1 Chronicles 16:8-9
Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

Lesson
God is honored when you show genuine gratitude to God before others.
We should thank God for His wondrous works, His gracious provisions, His grace & mercy, for withholding the punishment which we deserve, for the blessings & Joys of fellowship with Him, for making it possible to witness this new Month of May 2015 and for His future work in our life, based on His purposes & promises.

Prayer
I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
I thank you Father for all you have done for me and yet to do.
