Bible verse: Exodus 16:7
And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?

Lesson
When things are not the way we want them to be we have a tendency to complain and/or find faults in someone else especially in God. We try to forget the good things the Lord has done for us.
Though God might seemed to be silent, He hears all our complaints, even the murmurings of the heart.
It is true that God was good to you yesterday, and today, therefore trust God to taking care of the future and be rest assured that He will be good to you.

Prayer
Thank you Lord for your provision and loving kindness.
Let me have the mind and heart of remembrance of the good things you have been and you are doing in my life.
Let me be grateful to you, allow me not to forget what is really important and make me a living testimony of your goodness in Jesus name.

Sunday, 6th September 2015
Bible verse: Isaiah 66:13
As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Lesson
Our God is able; He never fails; He is not a man that will lie; He is a God of sufficient and NOW He takes us into covenant with himself.
Yes! He yearns after you, and does all he can to comfort, save and grant you everlasting life.
When your life becomes shattered, go back, like the prodigal son, to your heavenly Father and he will supply you with his grace and support you with his everlasting arms.

Prayer
Oh Lord, I often fall into sin, undermining the peace and joy you poured upon my soul I ask therefore that you guide, comfort and support me with your everlasting arms in Jesus name

Saturday, 5th September 2015
Bible verse: Daniel 12:3
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Lesson
With no light to guide us, we cannot know where we are going and without faith we shall turn into gloomy gus.
We will never enjoy the unction and power of God until our hearts are right with one another and with God.
We are to believe in our Lord, trust him and invest in human beings for their everlasting life and salvation.

Prayer
Dear God, I submit myself to your training and obedience.
Help me to choose wisely and let your lights shine at all times on my life and let it always direct me to showing people the way, that they might not perish, but have everlasting life, in Jesus name.
Make me to feel the power of righteousness in Jesus name.

Friday, 4th September 2015
Bible verse: Jeremiah 14:14
Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Lesson
The Lord doesn't dispute the claim that the false teachers and false prophets bear responsibility.
But to not preach repentance and the coming Kingdom of God is not only to disobey Scripture, but is also to allow believers to have a false sense of hope based on an incomplete word of God.
It is your responsibility to recognize the false prophets by keeping a close watch on yourself, their teachings and allow yourself to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Prayer
Oh Lord, your word saith that if we lack anything we should ask and it shall be granted us; bestow upon my life the spirit of discernment in Jesus name.
Deliver me from the fear of man and from all lewd persons and false prophets in Jesus name.

Thursday, 3rd September 2015
Bible verse: 2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Lesson
We can do nothing unless God is in it, so God is calling us to repent.
God has given us a formula we can use to avert His anger and judgment and also to uphold the covenant He made for us.
Whatever your life is like, you can gain God's favor.
He is wanting to bless you, but you need to behave in a nature suitable for His friendship.
Humble yourself before Him.
Talk to Him in prayer.
Respectfully seek audience with Him, and stop thinking & doing bad things.
Come to God in purity and reverence through Jesus.

Prayer
Oh Lord, allow my heart seek to respond to your glory, greatness, and goodness.
It is hard to get right with you if we aren't spending time with you, let the things of world not take away
the time I needed to spend with you in Jesus name.
Let my desires be solely to seeking and focusing on you in Jesus name.

Wednesday, 2nd September 2015
Bible verse: Hosea 6:1
Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Lesson
When there is a lack of spiritual power or the way is rough, or your patience diminishes, or loose focus, or become doubtful of the love and mercies of God - then you need to be revived.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus and heaven with its glory and grace will invades your condition.
God will refine and purify you, and then he will fill you with his power.
There's nothing as failing as someone in misery whose complaining and whining attitude makes everyone soon withdraw and separate.
So in all things recognize God is in control, give thanks and remember, you are never alone.

Prayer
Thank you Lord for your mercies and for accepting me despite my shortcomings.
Oh merciful God, let your love guide, motivate and protect me in Jesus name.
Be merciful unto me, heal and bless me; cause your face to shine upon me and let your presence overshadow my life in Jesus name.

Tuesday, 1st September 2015
Bible verse: Isaiah 55:10-11
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

Lesson
Snow and rain always provide a very necessary ingredient in the germination, growth, and production of seeds planted in the earth.
Yes! They always accomplish their purpose.
God's Word, like the rain and snow from heaven, shall always accomplish its God intended purpose. Guaranteed!
The power of the Word of God is not to be underestimated.

Prayer
This month, the Lord shall plant your thoughts and desires in the hearts and minds of your helpers.
He will accelerate your blessings and perfect all the good things concerning you in Jesus name.
Arise, shine and enjoy the fullness of peace, joy, and grace in the presence of the Lord this new month in Jesus name.
