    Bible verse: Psalms 62:5
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him

    Message
Expectations based on human assumptions or faulty expectations can create a lot of trouble in any relationship.
And any time there is mutual dependency, expectations exist, and, if those expectations are not met, conflict can be the result.
How can you guide against the consequences of faulty expectations and/or when expectations are not met?
    - Avoid basing your expectations on mere assumption instead on verifiable truth, realistic demands
    - If you find that your expectations of others are unreasonable be flexible to change them.
    - Be open and honest with yourselves with your expectations - are they realistic or unrealistic?
    - Analyze your expectations; take these unrealistic expectations and turn them into something more realistic.
    - Look unto God and trust Him because you can expect God to do exactly what He says He will do
    - You must not only pray, hope, have faith and believe but you must wait with expectation.

Beloveth, just because you don't get the answer you want, doesn't mean God isn't listening. Be patient

    Prayer
Dear Lord, as I wait expectantly upon You, may I never be jealous of how You are blessing others around me.
Continue to direct my mind, heart and soul into the things that please You.

    Bible verse: John 11:6+21
6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

    Message
Expectations are beliefs that spring from a person's thought process when examining evidence.
There are delayed expectations, realized expectations and unrealized expectations.
Beloveth, expectation positions you to receive a kingdom benefit.
But when expectations are not met, pain ensues, and we often place blame on the something or someone who did not live up to our expectations even if our expectations were unreasonable.

Martha believed in Jesus, had faith in him and had a very high expectation. She was disappointed but without anger or bitterness that Jesus did not show up at her defined right time.
Jesus is never too late. Her dead brother needed the anointed words.
The beggar at the gate of the beautiful temple was expecting to receive something from Peter thinking money was the answer to his problems, but it was the anointed words that helped him.

The scripture encourages those who trust in the Lord to expect good things from Him.

    Prayer
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Thank You Lord that You are never too late to see me through.

    Bible verse: 2 Kings 5:10-11
10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.
11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

    Message
To be wroth means to be intensely angry or highly incensed.
Many believers are not happy when messages are sent to them through preaching from the pulpit or by counseling because of their higher expectations.
Naaman was expecting miracle from Elisha and he was morally disappointed when his expectation was not met.
Many believers like Naaman, usually become very wroth when expectations are not met.
What are your expectations in your business, in your marriage, in your career, your pastor, from the church, from your siblings, and how high are they?
Beloveth, high expectation when not fulfilled might have devastating consequences and can lead to disappointments, anger, slander, bitterness, lying, hatred, jealousy, envy and ungratefulness and evil speaking.
You need the spiritual counseling of God to overcome the consequences of over expectations and/or faulty expectations.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, let my expectation not be cut off in Jesus name.
Empower me to stay calm and collected never to let any unfulfilled expectation lead to bitterness, anger, hatred and ungratefulness in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

    Message
Trust is the practical outworking of faith: it is when you trust God that you show that your faith in Him is real.
Simply believing in God is not enough, you are to have faith and lean on the wisdom of God's word, trust Him with your whole heart and put your whole live in His hands without choosing what and when you want to entrust in Him.
Sometimes there will seem to be insurmountable obstacles in your way and as you trust Him you will eventually reach the destination that He has in mind for you.
Joseph did not lean on his own understanding, neither did David, they got to their God planned destination.
Peter stepped out of the boat walking on the water, because he put his trust on Jesus.
Noah building a great boat in the middle of dry land because he trusted the Lord with all his heart.
As the year is going to an end, you are better adviced not to lean on your own understanding or put your trust in friends, your siblings or your environment instead let your focus be on God.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, I am ready to get into the wheelbarrow for You to take me to where you wants me to be.
Give me understanding, remove every insurmountable obstacles in my way and keep me away from leaning on my own understanding in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 23:35
They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

    Message
Sin makes a man contemptible in life, feeling free of the repercussions and the urge to embrace the next opportunity of repeating the same excesses.
Beloveth, when you have headache or stomach troubles or any other pains it is your responsibility to cure the disease which causes the pain.
Likewise, it is your responsibility to seek cleansing of your sins and not to fallback into the same sin.
You might have many reasons to enjoying the momentary pleasure in that sin, note that it can only bring a temporary relief and can make you loose focus of your destiny and of God and consequently deprive you of everlasting life.
Seek God and pray that He should set you free from that which have stricken you.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, remove every siege obstructing and limiting my progress and my focusing on You and my destiny in Jesus name.
Stripe away O Lord, every spirit that will allow me to fallback into sin and loose confidence in Your grace in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 24:1-2 contd
1 Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.
2 For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

    Message
Yes! we know that evil men are experts at fooling others with their smooth speech and flattering words and at creating confusion and contention.
Yes! it is uncontentment that leads to envy, greed and jealousy.
How can you guide yourself against such evil men and do not fall into the trap of envy?
    - Set your focus on God and be committed to His word.
    - Establish your boundaries and stick to them.
    - Distance yourself from the evil men when necessary.
    - Choose to see the things that you want to see in life and ignore all their flamboyant lifestyle.
    - Stop complaining and murmuring about your situation and/or finding faults in someone.
    - Turn your back on all that is wrong in your life and all that is paved with butter and pastries to the evil men.

Beloveth, don't forget that you will be made accountable for whatsoever you do in this world and that you brought nothing to this planet and sure will take nothing with you when you are called to glory.
It is better to steer clear of having evil men as close friends - or of desiring what they have for wide is the road to hell fire.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, help me not to compare myself to others and what they have, to be content with the gifts You have given me, and the life You made for me.
Fill me Lord, with thankfulness instead of jealousy and envy of others and help me to rejoice with those who rejoice in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 24:1-2
1 Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.
2 For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

    Message
An evil person is someone who engages in malevolent behaviors, who feels good and are inwardly happy when bad things happen to other people.

An evil man is a master manipulator who is always ready to stab others at the back and ready to have his worldly desires by all means - cheating, stealing, creating confusion and contention.

Hmmmmm! Then why would one envy evil men who have such characters?
Envy is easy when you see that their lives seem to be much easier and better, seem to be paved with butter and pastries.
Envy is easy because they have things you'd like to have - they have pleasures you think you would want.
But you forget that evil men are successful because they cheat, steal, and claw their way to the top, ready to kill and have nothing in their hearts but destruction and self-centeredness.

Beloveth, envy against evil men is desiring and begrudging their pleasure and prosperity in sin.
Do not hang around them because you like their stuff - their lifestyle - their buttered steps.
It is written "evil communications corrupt good manners."
Therefore be not thou desire to be with evil men.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, remove from me every spirit and principality of jealousy and envy.
Give me the grace to be satisfied and be contented with whatever I have in Jesus name.
