Bible verse: 2 Corinthians 3:5 contd
    Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

    Message
Beloveth, all success is to be traced to God and we should always be grateful at all times and in every situation.
Do youknow how easy is it for God to disarrange all our faculties, and produce insanity.
How easy to suffer our minds to become unsettled, bewildered, and distracted with a multiplicity of thoughts.
How easy to cause every thing to appear cloudy, and dark, and misty.
How easy to affect our bodies with weakness, languor, disease, and through them to destroy all power of close and consecutive thought.

Yes! God can achieve His purpose either through the absence of human power and resources, or the abandonment of reliance on them.
But unlike man, He is a merciful and compassionate God.

    Prayer
Help me to submit to Your will completely in all areas of my life and change my heart Lord to reflect Your heart.
Help me to be CONTENT with the gifts You have given me, and the life You made for me, to appreciate what I have and all You have done for me.
Fill me with thankfulness because it is Your sufficiency that I have been able to do anything.

    Bible verse: 2 Corinthians 3:5
    Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

    Message
Beloveth, all our powers of thinking and reasoning are from God; and that we have no ability to think clearly, to reason calmly, closely, and correctly, unless He shall preside over our minds and give us clearness of thought.
From Him we have received all our powers, whether of body or of mind.
He makes us competent through the spirit to reflect His glory.

This scripture is evidently designed to guard against the appearance of boasting, or of self-confidence, or of self-centeredness, of pride.
It is only by God's sufficiency that we have been able to do anything.
Gideon's insufficiency was met with the Lord's sufficiency.

    Prayer
O Lord, with shame I do confess my universal emptiness, poverty, arrogance and pride.
Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding saturate my mind, body and soul in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 30:7-8
Two things I asked of You, Do not refuse me before I die:
Keep deception and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion.

    Message
Seek the Lord, seek righteousness, seek humility; seek forgiveness, restoration and eternal life.
Idle hands do not glorify God, nor mischievous hands, nor dirty hands, nor dishonest hands, nor unkind hands, nor careless hands.
Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed, deception and lies.

    Prayer
Father Lord, one thing have I desire of thee, that I may continue on my daily basis to seek Your face and live a life that will attract Your presence every day of my life in Jesus name.
Let me be filled with the presence of Your great compassion in Jesus name

    Bible verse: Judges 6:14-15
14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
15 And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.

    Message
Thanklessness, whining and grumbling - regardless of your situation - reflect your heart.
Complaints arise from the fleshly nature of your heart which can rob you of God's blessing and grace.
Complaints and/or murmuring reflects that your life is miserable, nothing is positive and someone or God is responsible.
The motivating machine for grumbling, complaining and thanklessness are pride and self-centeredness, comparison and self-pity, jealousy and greed, stubbornness and hardness of heart.
You might, like Gideon, see no qualifications in yourself or in the life tree of your family but God is seeing you as the mighty man.
You will be sought for and without you nothing can happen because God will go before you and pour His blessings upon your life.

God does not care of your position, who your parents are - poor or rich - what you are going through, when you are needed by Him He will surely make the provision.
Do what you can do and allow God to do what you cannot.
Trust Him, draw nearer to Him, focus on God, purify your mind, and God will not fail you.

    Prayer
Help me oh Lord, to have perfect trust in Your protecting love as I seek Your guidance against stubbornness, hardness of heart, self-pity, thanklessness, pride unbelief and fear in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Psalm 35:19
Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

    Message
Winking of the eye is a sign that you have tricked someone and it also shows an arrogant satisfaction that you have defeated someone.
You are thereby wrongfully rejoice over that somebody.
Beloveth, antagonism in itself is not wrong, but the antagonism must be just and right.

Being hated by the world is not the end of the world.
You are not to be worried; for it is written that God will not suffer thy foot to be moved and that the sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
Leave them to rejoice for their rejoicement is a declaration of war against God.
One thing is sure, if you are unjustly hated like Jesus was hated, God will also rescue you like He rescued Jesus.

    Prayer
Oh gracious God, let my enemies and those who wrongfully rejoice over me experience Your supernatural power of love that transforms hatred, unforgivingness and bitterness to love in Jesus name.
Contend with those who contend with me.
Let them be like chaff before wind and their way be dark and slippery and let them fall into the nets they have set in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 10:18
He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

    Message
Slander is lying to spread false information about others or the purpose of harming the reputation of a person.
He that uttereth a slander is a wicked person with evil hearts.
It is a fool that cover hatred in his/her heart with lies.
It is evil and wickedness to say nice things or supportive things of someone when that person is around but inwardly you despise him/her.

To allow a hatred to build up in your heart is not just foolishness but you have also violated the law of the Lord that says you should love your neighbours even those who hates you.
Hatred, gossip, slander and unforgiveness will lead you only to hell fire.
Speak the truth in love and if you disagree with someone love him/her by interceding for him/her.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, grant me the power and grace to love my enemies, to bless those people that curse and hurt me and let my enemies experience Your supernatural power of love that transforms hatred to love in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 1 Timothy 1:5
Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    Message
The heart is the testing place of what we like and the revealing part of the true man.
Charity of pure heart is kindliness, consideration, humanity, benignity, sympathy.
The opposite of purity of heart is hypocrisy which is all about presenting a false face to God and man.
The thoughts and motives of a pure hearted child of God is pure, unmixed with anything devious, ulterior or base.

Beloveth, there are some that are pure in their own eyes, and in the esteem of others, and yet are not cleansed from their filthiness, and are inwardly full of all manner of impurity.

Draw now near to God and offer Him your true heart but not in hopeless resignation.
Yes! in good conscience, and of faith unfeigned and God will lift you up, cleanse you of your iniquities, guide and protect you.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant me the desire to have a clean and pure heart before You without the sinful desires, wickedness of the heart, bitterness, pride, malice, or anger that might keep me from You in Jesus name.
