    Bible verse: Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

    Message
This Scripture tells us what is necessary to cultivating and operating in a spirit of excellence - doing things well done, decent and in order.
Excellence is the quality of excelling, of being the very best at something.
Daniel distinguished himself because he possessed that spirit of excellence - he was faithful and no error or fault was found in him.
Joseph, likewise, served all his masters faithfully and consistently. Even when he was unjustly imprisoned, he was able to impress the warden with his excellent character and work ethic.

Beloveth, excellence makes you exceptional and excellence will promote you like Joseph and Daniel.
It is time to start doing things with excellence - doing all things decently and in order.
Therefore strive after excellence, giving your best at everything you do.
    Remember, excellence is a choice.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, anoint me with the spirit of excellence and remove every hindrance on my way to cultivating and operating in that spirit of excellence in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 8:6
Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

    Message
Excellent is defined as possessing outstanding quality or superior merit; remarkably good.
Therefore to speak of excellent things, you need to love and speak the truth or to be truthful.
Your word should be righteous, and you should never speaks frowardly or perversely.

Beloveth, having delight in gossip, slander, backbiting and evil speaking is the opposite of speaking of excellent things.
Anything that even remotely consists of falsehood or that has the traits of dishonesty are the complete opposite of truth and thus should not be what to dwell on nor should they find their way into your thoughts or actions.

    Prayer
O God, let your spirit of excellence operate in every area of my life in the name of Jesus.
I will speak of excellent things and the opening of my lips shall be right things in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Isaiah 43:18-19 contd.
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

    Message
The wilderness is called a place of "temporary escape, transformation" - and it is full of loneliness, self-doubt, questioning, and despair.
It is a place that one enters by cutting off one's past in an attempt to make a fresh start like Moses and Hagar.
God is sending forth a promise of hope that can only be received when you choose to let go and forget the past and receive what He has now in store for you.
He wants to do a new thing in your live. He wants you to rise up to your full potential in Him.

Just like the children of Israel, you could meditate on your past or you could focus upon what God wants to do in and through your live now and in the future.
Therefore you must keep your minds and hearts open to what God is doing and what He wants to do in your midst.
We must get your eyes off the past and fasten them upon the power of the Lord.
    Lets a
Allow Him to refine you in the desert that you may show forth His praise, and tell others it's okay, He is doing and will do a new thing.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, I thank You for the gift of life and for loving me unconditionally.
I pray that You will order my steps, guide me in the right path and be my decision maker.
I pray that You will help me to fulfil the plans You have for me in my life by forsaking procrastination and those things You hate in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Isaiah 43:18-19 contd.
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

    Message
God is telling you that He has something better and different for you but it's going to require you to keep moving forward even through a dangerous, hostile and inhospitable wilderness.

God is saying to us, "I am doing something new in your life now".
Yes! He is am making a path in the wilderness and He is refreshing you with streams of living water in the desert as you walk in obedience to Him.
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
Change your focus, quit looking behind, start looking head.
You cannot depend upon past victories to sustain you.

Remember, that in order to go where you've never been, you have to do something you've never done.
Therefore, allow God to lead you in places you've never been before because, He loves doing new things, loves showing us new places and loves using new methods.

    Prayer
Open our eyes Lord, to what You are already doing among us and in my life.
Let me have a strong unwavering faith that I will receive what I petition You in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Isaiah 43:18-19
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

    Message
Beloveth, the past is a great place to learn from but it is a terrible place to live in.
Although there is a time and place to recollect past events to glean its wisdom, but you don't stay there.
If you live in the past, you will never embrace the future God has in store for you.

Don't expect past victories to sustain you, don't allow past failures to paralyse you.
You cannot allow your past failures to possess you - learn from them and let them go.

You must first see yourself as God sees you and see your possibilities as God sees them.

Do not hang on to unresolved issues, failures and negativity for too long.
It is written - The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant the the ability, strength and courage to let go the former things and those things that will not make me to look forward and unto You in Jesus name.
I will no longer be trapped in the frustration of living in the darkness in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 23:24
The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

    Message
Yes! our gracious, merciful and beloved heavenly Father cares greatly about our relationship with Him.
In same manner should we have great care of our children, show them love, motivate, encourage and teach them in the ways of the Lord.

God expects us to be showing our children righteous wisdom, teaching them about it, and enforcing their performance, because if a child is foolish, wicked, selfish surely his parents will be grieved and not happy.
There is great joy in righteous and wise children.

    - Do you teach your children wisdom, obedience and respect?
    - Can you be proud of been a good mentor to your children?
    - Are you showing love, forgiveness, compassion, kindness and having open ears to them?

Remember, no one but the devil and this wicked world loses when your children are wise, acquire knowledge and fear of the Lord.

    Prayer
Father Lord, help me to cut out all foolish or wasteful activities and to focus on getting more wisdom, train my children in your ways and grant me the Godly desired integrity in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Psalms 119:77
Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

    Message
Mercy is compassion to those in trouble, even if the trouble is of their own making, or their own fault.
It is by God's mercy that we are forgiven, saved and justified and to receive that which we did not deserve and did not earn.

The Lord's tender mercies are the very personal and individualized blessings, strength, protection, assurances, guidance, loving-kindnesses, consolation, support, and spiritual gifts which we receive from the almighty Father.

Repentance and forgiveness of sins and peace of conscience comes through the tender mercies of God.
The tender mercy of God moves Him to provide salvation for those who are in desperate straits.
It was through the tender mercy of our God that Zacharias was crowned with a son that prepared the way for the Savior of the world.
Beloveth, your faithfulness, obedience, commitment, repentance and humility will invite the Lord's tender mercies into your live.
He will abundantly bless you with His tender mercies.
The simpleness, the sweetness, and the constancy of the tender mercies of the Lord will do much to fortify and protect you in the troubled times in which you do now and will yet live.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, as I face challenges and tests in my live, I pray for Your tender mercies.
Fill me oh Lord, with understanding, coherent, loved, self-controlled, trustworthy and life-filled in Jesus name.
