Bible verse: 2 John 1:3 contd
3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

    Message
God's grace is all the resources He is able to give the believer freely.
God's grace may be unmerited favour but it does not come un-attracted.
God must find something in your life before He puts His grace on you.
Your virtues will provoke God to put His grace on you.
The more grateful you become, the more you will experience grace in life.
A mind that is complaining all the time cannot experience grace but one which is thankful and contented will experiences more grace in life.

Beloveth, you must remember that whatever you get is your capacity, and if you want to get more, then you must expand your capacity. When your capacity increases, more will definitely come to you.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant me the grace to accept my limits, the faith to trust you more and a greater willingness to let you have full control of my life.
I forsake the illusion of my competency and cast myself on you so that nothing shall separate me from your love in Jesus name.

Lord, You are the God of peace and love in whom I place my trust, give me a peaceful heart that rests in You and a loving spirit that pours fourth Your love to others.
Grant me your sufficient grace in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 2 John 1:3
3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

    Message
Grace is something given, not earned.
It is undeserved favour to those who deserve the opposite.
God extends His grace to us without merit on our part but on a gratis basis.
Mercy is pity shown to those who are guilty and wretched.
Peace is the harmonious relationship that results from God's grace and mercy.
Peace is the result of grace and mercy.
Truth is sincerity in action, character, and utterance which is unmovable, unalterable, and needs not to be defended.

Beloveth, God's mercy is waiting for you, wanting to help you. Therefore, prepare your minds for action,
keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

    Prayer
Thank you Lord for bringing me forth to the light.
Do not allow me to ever lose confidence in Your grace but boldly believe that this You, God of indignation, will plead my cause and bring me from the darkness of judgment to the light of life in Jesus name.

Bible verse: 1 Samuel 2:30 contd.
30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

    2) How can you honour the Lord?
The most powerful way to honour God is neither with your words, nor your songs, nor your good intentions but with those things that matter the most to you like your time, your God given talent, gifts and abilities, your temple, your treasures and your heart.
Others means of honouring God include:
    - trusting Him with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.
    - fear the Lord and revere Him.
    - meet at a place of worshiping the Lord and be punctual.
    - avoid grooming and sharing of irritations and rumours.
    - armor yourself with humility, kindness, rightness, grace and peace and not tricking or cheating anyone.
    - always be content and be grateful of what you have, what and who you are.
    - forgive and give grace beyond what people deserve.
    - love your fellow brethren and care for them as God loves and cares for you.
    - be fair in your dealings with others - doing unto others what you want others do unto you.
    - accept your opportunities and your limitations and avoid self-centeredness.
Yes! you need to renew your mindset, your thoughts and lifestyle and to repent if you have not been walking in accordance to His will.
Beloveth, God will surely honour you as you have honoured him.

    Prayer
Father, You made it possible for me to experience this earthly journey, having mercy on me and showing me Your love and kindness.
Grant me the grace, the courage, the confidence and the ability to be able to honour You with my time, my God-given gifts and abilities, my temple, my treasures and my heart in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 1 Samuel 2:30
30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

    Message
What does it mean to honor God?
Honor refers to the value you personally place on something or someone.
When you honor God, you are demonstrating the high regard you have for Him.
To honor God means to put Him first in your priorities, in your spending, in your budgeting, in your relationships, in your values.
You honour God when you give up those things that matter the most to you for God, when you go out of your way to please Him, when you put yourself through inconveniences and severe sacrifices for Him.
Beloveth, there is no better way to honour God than when you give up those things that matter most to you for God, when you put yourself through inconveniences and severe sacrifices for Him and when you spend your time for Him.

God has declared "for them that honour me I will honour".
And when God honours you, you shall be like Joshua and your light shall shine and all men shall know you are indeed blessed.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, may my live serve as signs of the transforming power of Your love and to honour You with those things that will bring glory to Your name.

    Bible verse: Matthew 7:5
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

    Message
It is so easy to see someone else's fault, but when it comes to seeing our own faults that is another story.
Many believers can use all their precious time to meddle and gossip others.

If you meddle in other people's affair or gossip, then you probably have too little responsibilities of your own and are being too idle.
It's ridiculous for you to spend so much time finding all the little things that are wrong with others while you ignore your own huge problems.
Let's address our own problems, weaknesses, sins, and inconsistencies, and then we can lovingly and humbly try to help others with their problems.
Stop using secret information you coveted through all kind of means as evidences to convince a third party.
You need to ask God to help you see clearly to cast out the mote in your eyes, not to leak secrets to third party, or throw accusations at others, destroy the life of others by spreading fake news and rumours.

    Prayer
Gracious God, please work in me Your holy will, produce in me Your holy character and help me not to look for the faults of others but to keep from dealing with my own in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Exodus 14:14 contd.
The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

    Message
Beloveth, it might look like you are stuck, finished - in front of you stretching an impassable sea, behind you marching an implacable foe while a lot of Sanballat is surrounding you, yet God is telling you "hold your peace" - He will fight for you.
Stand still, think not to save yourself either by fighting or flying. Allow God to take over.

When you feel overwhelmed, when the challenges before you are more than you can handle, and you are naturally wired for worry and your mind spins out of control, remember that God made an unthinkable path through the Red sea.
And if you are committed to the kingdom of God and seeking to live for God's purposes and glory, then the battles are really God's battles, and He will fight for you.

    Prayer
Dear precious God, You rescued the Israelites at the edge of the Red Sea, I surrender myself and all the mountains before me unto Your hand.
Rescue me from the things of this world that threaten my live and livelihood, so that I might forever place my trust in You in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Exodus 14:14
The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

    Message
When you discover yourself to be surrounded by a whole host of menacing problems, do not register unbelief in your heart.
Hold your peace, trust in the faithful word of God and stop looking at the problems that are surrounding you.
God has promised to fight for you therefore you need to rest in His love and trust His word.

Remember the Israelites cried out in fear and unbelief when they saw the surging waters of the Red Sea ahead, mountains towered all around, and the Egyptian's army advanced menacingly wanting to overtake, to crush them and/or bring them back to captivity.
God did what only He can do - splatted that sea in half with His supernatural power, fought and rescued His people.

God is willing and ready to transform those situations, fight those enemies and grant you unmerited favour if you will hold fest on Him.

    Prayer
Father Lord, I thank You for Your many and precious promises.
Give me wisdom when I don't know what to do and hope in the middle of despair.
Help me to rest in You and trust all the issues of my life into Your hands in Jesus name.
