Bible verse: 1 John 2:15-16
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Message
Those who loves the world do not have the love of God in them.
The love of the world is nothing else than satisfying your carnal desires - thinking and acting out of selfishness, greed, pride, and personal ambitions.
Yes! the lust of the flesh and of the eyes and boastful pride of life have taken control of you and therefore you are gradually moving into the kingdom of satan because you have chosen to walk in the world, accept things of the world and be conformed to the world.

Yes! you have a selfish desire for the things that you do not have and a sinful pride in the things that you do have forgetting that is the Lord that supplied.
And finally the love for the world will push out your love for God, you will forsake His laws, start backsliding and become amenable by the ruler of the world.
Brethren, the only way that you can fight the love of the world is to maintain and grow in your love for God, have knowledge of His Word, live in obedience to His Word and make your love for God the ruling principle of your live.

Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, do not grant me the slightest opportunity that will influence the love for the world to push out my love for You rather let my love for God pushes out every evil love for the world in Jesus name

Oh Lord, let every legitimate natural desires of mine be kept under Your control and be used in the sphere for which You designed them in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Deuteronomy 8:10
When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

Message
God is the source of all our wealth, knowledge, wisdom, good health, living and good things in our life.
Our skills and knowledge are nothing without God.
Yes! we are who we are today by His grace; so we should bless the Lord.

Beloveth, a grateful heart will not forget the source of these good things.
Let us learn to be grateful and be a good giving children of God.
Let us give to God, fellowship with Him, be obedient to His word, put our confidence and trust in Him and hunger for the things of God.
Do you take the things of God serious? What about being punctual to His house, or giving to the poor, the fatherless and our tithe?

When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God with your TIME, your SUBSTANCE and your FAITHFULNESS.

Your waking up today in good health and sound mind is not by your doing or your power. Bless God with praises and thanksgiving. Celebrate Him for His protection and mercies.

Prayer
Thank you Lord, for giving me the privilege of enjoying life, having a comfortable home, wealth & riches, spiritual abundance.
Do not let me loose my sense of gratitude in Jesus name.
Deliver me Oh Lord, from minds that always calculate and crown me with the garment of praises and thanksgiving in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Isaiah 60:22
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

Message
Many at times it seems we are making but little progress; but we have this pledge, "A little one shall become a thousand".
Beloved, the Lord is telling us that there shall be no stagnancy, no fruitlessness, no sickness, disappointments, no failures, no poverty because He has promised to hasten in His time.
Yes in this year of Jubillee our Lord shall be change disappointments to appointments, poverty to prosperity, doubt to confidence, fear to hope, sorrow to joy and darkness to light.

Whatsoever we lawfully acquire and possess though very small beginning, and contemptible, yet shall greatly multiply.
It may seem to be delayed and put off so long that we are out of hopes of it but the Lord will hasten it with all convenient speed. There shall be no unnecessary delay saith the Lord.

Be ready to throw your nets and be obedient NOT on your own terms and you will see God in action in all your undertakings.

Remember that Peter, a professional fishermen, went fishing the whole night long but catch no fish but threw his net at the terms of Jesus.

Prayer
Dear everlasting Father, You wish above all things that I shall prosper and be in good health lacking nothing to Your own glory; do not deny me the free and lawful use of the good things of life and guide me in my walking in righteousness so that at the end of my journey on this planet I will be qualified for eternal life in your kingdom in Jesus name.

Thank You Lord for Your abundant provision in every area of my life.

The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.

Message
Beloved, do you know that if you have more wisdom than gray or white hair and that your white hair is a crown of glory, for it declares a godly life lived well?
Gray or white hair on an old person should be a badge of honor - a crown of glory.
It is a change that God ordained in hair color to indicate age, maturity, and experience. And it is expected of you to be examples of sobriety, gravity, sincerity, temperance, faith, truth, charity and patience.

The younger ones remember it is written "Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD".

Are you gray haired? And do you have the qualities and integrity of been gray haired - living a righteous life, morally good, treats others justly, ways you pursue pleasure, your lifestyle and are you devoted to God and His laws?
Are you committed to things God hates?
How do you control your anger and treat those who hate you?

Remember, those who continue to live righteous lives in their old age will continue to experience the peace that such living brings.

Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, give me the grace to receive and to maintain all the double blessings that I will enjoy my old age.
May I be granted the wisdom to avoid false resistance and when suffering knocks on the door of my life, may I be able to glimpse the hidden gift in Jesus name

Bible verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:14
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

Message
Are you one of those mischief makers, or a gossip specialist , or busy body in other people's matters and/or with unguarded mouth? Then you are the unruly.

Do you linger in the misty borderland between doubt and certainty or lack courage to making choices and decisions or you despair gaining victory and give up all endeavours? You belong to the weak.

The feebleminded are the dispirited, the disheartened, the downcast, those who are subject to bondage or oppressed with the inveteracy of sin.

Yes these unruly, weak and feebleminded people need encouragement, motivation and counseling with the love and promises of God highlighted and propagated.
We are to remind them that the word of God and the Holy Spirit are at work in them. They should cast their burden upon the Lord from whom they will receive power and strength.

Without a good character and sound integrity it will be difficult to warn, comfort and motivate these folks.
Your lifestyle, your obedience and the level of the word of God in you will be the mobilization energy and will serve as example of God's glory in you during the process of encouraging, enabling, empowering, equipping and entrusting them for a change.

Prayer
Oh Lord, I receive the power to overcome every challenging situation today by putting on the shoes of peace and displaying an even temper in Jesus name.

To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

Message
Wisdom is the power of right judgment, the analytical ability to fully discern a situation or dilemma or provocation and correctly conclude the godly and right attitude or action in response.
Justice is knowing what is right and demands it with faithful integrity - always condemning the wicked and justifing the righteous.
A man of equity will not distort truth or slant matters in any direction. He is meticulously fair in distributing both rewards and punishments.

Man's innate pride fights against being corrected and taught by another, for he presumes he is wise and right.

Until God regenerates you with a new heart, you will not be wise or right, for your affections remain selfish and perverse. After regeneration, you need instruction to bring your mind up to speed.

Wisdom, justice, judgment, and equity are wonderful things to have, and every noble reader will crave them with great desire.

Prayer
Dear Lord, as I step into the fifth month of this year, grant me the ability to identify error and choose right action that is completely equal, fair, impartial, and evenhanded never to be moved by emotions, friendships, or compensation to compromise in Jesus name.

Make me keen to understand, quick to learn and always able to remember Your love and kindness.
Guide my pathway as I thirst for your truths in Jesus name.

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Message
Mercy is that gentle, forgiving, gracious, and overlooking trait of a righteous man, who gladly take personal injury rather than fight or hurt someone.
Truth is the stubborn commitment to whatever is honest and right, regardless of cost.

Brethren, we are not to make this world the object of our chief affection; we are not to be influenced by the maxims and feelings which prevail among those who take pleasure in the world.
Instead we are to be consumed with loving God, obeying Him, doing His will and setting our affections on God, not withholding goodness, mercy and truth from those to whom it is due because as you do so God will make your path straight, He will remove any obstacles that keep you from living righteously..

Let your steadfastness involved humility, love, repentance, forgiveness, courage, obedience, compassion and confidence in the Lord.

Prayer
Father Lord, let love, mercy and truth rule my life in Jesus name.
Yes, Your Mercy will rewrite my story and Your Grace shall give me better than I deserve and I will step into the fullness of Your blessing and calling in Jesus name.
