    Bible verse: James 1:2-3
    2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

    Message
Joy is independent of temptations; it is a product of your relationship with God.
Trials are unavoidable, it is a mechanism to booster your faith in the Lord.
Just as it is sure that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, you are going to face troubles and trials.
Job was a blameless and honorable man who feared God and turned away from evil. Yet, in one day he lost everything from his children, to his cattle, to his wealth but did not loose his faith in the Lord.
Do you know that believers get cancer just like non-believers, have strokes just like non-believers, are killed in accidents just like non-believers, are indiscriminately exposed to rain and sunshine just like non-believers? - Trials are unavoidable.
Beloveth, you shouldn't think it is strange if you go through troubles, trials and tribulations.
Hmmmm!! But why should you count temptations as joy or how can you be glad and have joy in the midst of trouble?
The key is NOT to focus on the trouble, but to focus on the Lord, and to look ahead at what God is going to do in your life.
God wants you to experience joy in the midst of your pains, or sadness, or depression, or discouragement.
Yes! He is using that period checking and purifying your motives and preparing you for a better alternative.
Therefore count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations because your hurts and difficult circumstances are only passing experiences helping you to be mature with a pure and undefiled faith in the Lord.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, help me to identify and deal with every weakness in me that can hinder my faith and progress in Jesus name.
Let your angels of peace go ahead of me, reveal my truly value and guide me to overcome every temptation and every doubt that has become strongholds in my life in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 2 Kings 20:1
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

    Message
It is hard not to reward good behavior and attitudes unless of course you sense it is being done only for manipulation, camouflage or for personal egoism.
Our heavenly Father loves to reward faithfulness by His children.
Attempts to manipulate God's blessings and favor will always fail.
When your business, or your marriage, or your vision, or your ministry, or plans for a better, brighter future, is at the edge of collapse and cooping with life is almost impossible you don't need to attempt manipulating God with special offerings and fasting while you have not been faithful to Him nor obedient to His Word but instead have been doing things your own way, at your own time and discretion.
Hezekiah walked faithfully with God, tore down all the altars and high places, set his heart to serve God and cleanse the nation from sinful practices and exemplified trust in God.
No wonder when he challenged God, God has to change His verdict.
Beloveth, your condition is not your conclusion.
The good things you have been doing for God's kingdom shall be the basis of your petition to Him. And you should expect something to happen.
Expectation is the breeding ground for miracles.
Those who walk faithfully with the Lord usually find they are generally under the blessings and attention of the Lord.

    Prayer
Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
Oh Lord, I need your presence, your touch and directives in my life right now.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me in Jesus mighty name.

    Bible verse: Isaiah 58:11
And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

    Message
A drought is defined as a period of abnormally dry weather sufficiently prolonged for the lack of water to cause serious hydrologic imbalance in the affected area.
In the watered garden, vegetation continues to spring fresh and joyous because of its fertility, freshness and beauty because it never experience drought.
Do you know that there is no famine or drought in God's kingdom?
Beloveth, this scripture tells you that in the midsummer heat of business life, and in seasons of spiritual drought, when the hot winds of temptation and vigorous challenges are blowing directly from the burning desert, during the time of hopelessness, when you are experiencing difficult periods in your live, when you are troubled by worries, illness, financial problems, then you are in drought.
Yes! God promises that He will guide you, He will satisfy your needs and strengthen you like a spring that never goes dry and thou shalt be like a watered garden.
You will experience life, and life more abundantly because it is God's desire to sustain you both physically and spiritually as a testimony of hope to the world and to His own glory.
Beloveth, it is when you are going your own ways, serving your own interests, or pursuing your own affairs and in short, sin that will not allow you to tap into this never ending source of abundant life, the life giving and life changing flourishing and flowering garden.

    Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, in seasons of spiritual and physical drought lead me to the watered garden and make me unmovable from this garden and unmovable from Your sight.
Thank You Lord, for making my life to become a beautiful, fruitful, flourishing display in a difficult dry world.

    Bible verse: Job 36:5-6
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
6 He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.

    Message
Beloveth, God is far from favoring the ungodly and the wicked ones unless they do repent.
But He hath respect unto the lowly, despise not the poor, disdain not the weak and does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous.
Yes! our Lord is the omniscient, the omnipotent, the almighty, the supplier of all our needs, mighty in strength and wisdom.
If any man lack wisdom, he may seek from God, who giveth liberally because He reproaches no man for his want of knowledge.
God sees things not only in themselves, but in their connections, sources, and results. He sees your wickedness, your mindset, your thoughts and your intentions.
Can you boast of God been mighty in both power and understanding?
Has He been Preserving you, supporting you under all your troubles; protecting and defending you from all your enemies; converting you by the power of His grace?
Hold, therefore, firm to Him, confess your sins, repent and rejoice in His name not allowing trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or pride or sword separate to you from His love.

    Prayer
I take refuge in You Lord, and I pray that You spread Your protection over me and let Your love overshadow my weaknesses in Jesus name.
Let neither trouble nor hardship nor pride nor unforgiveness nor hardening of the heart, nor negative mindset nor things of this world nor any power separate me from Your love as I reject every attitude of timidity in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 2 Corinthians 10:5
    Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

    Message
Speculations, procrastination and assumption are some of the instruments of the devil to hijack you from God.
If you allow Satan to control the way you think he will control your life.
Stop every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and use the spiritual weapons with divine power to demolish strongholds by taking every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ.
Put on the full armour of God, resist the devil and he shall flee the.
Change the way you think, your mindset, develop God awareness, fear not, be patient and do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Cast down imaginations and forsake unnecessary speculation taking note that what is speculative is never certain and never authoritative.
Rely on the word of God which is certain, authoritative and powerful and full of blessings.

    Prayer
Oh Lord, I submit myself totally under your control. Guard me against making interpretations that are purely speculative in Jesus name.
Grant me the spiritual ability, power and authority to be able to take every thought into captivity in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Ecclesiastes 5:10
He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.

    Message
For the person who loves silver or jewelries or money, no matter how much he has of it, it is never enough.
If your source for joy and satisfaction in life is your influence, possession of expensive silver and gold in great numbers, expensive luxurious cars, villas and mansions, power and position etc, you are in for trouble.
To set your heart upon it for such purposes, to long for it above higher good, to be absorbed in its quest, is sinful.
You cannot receive eternal life with these precious earthly things.
The illusion of obtaining happiness through wealth is like a vapor that you can never grasp.
Beloveth, He to whom wealth is everything has no security that his property shall not, after his death, come into the hands of those who shall squander it in dissipation, or waste it in reckless speculations.
If you spend your whole life, and exhausts all your energies, in gathering together a fortune note that you will return naked to the earth, carrying nothing in your hands.
To live with a realistic view of death is to recognize the limited value of those wealth and riches - you will take none of them with you. Naked you came from your mother's womb, and naked shall ye return to the earth.
Therefore, let your goal be eternal life; seeking holiness and make God your source of joy and satisfaction.
People might disappoint you, your spouse might fail to act in accordance with your desires and expectations, you might be condemned and rejected but if GOD is your focus and the source of your joy and satisfaction, it is guaranteed that God will never fail you or let you down.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.
Have you managed to accumulate some wealth in this life? Think of eternal life.

    Prayer
Thank You Lord for been my rock, my salvation, my defence and that You are the only source of true satisfaction.
Guard me with the power to resist the love of things of this world.
Satisfy me with Your loving-kindness, that I may sing for joy and be satisfied with things You blessed me with, to be glad and grateful all my days in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

    Message
Do you know that you exercise trust all the time, quite unthinkingly?
When you are on vacation you trust the airline and the crew that the airline will provide that plane and secondly that you will arrive at your destination with all the promises guaranteed by the airline.
Yes! you trust the bank with your money.
You go, punctually, to your working place from 1st till end of the month - you trust and have the believe that your employer will pay your salary at the end of the month.
You obey the rules and regulations laid down by that airline, your employer and/or the bank. First you trust them and you are obedient to their principles.
Trust is the practical outworking of faith.

Beloveth, God's primary principle to His rule and regulations is: "Obey Before Complain".
If you trust the Lord your God, you will obey Him each and every time.
It is when you trust God that you show that your faith in Him is real.
Yes! you are to trust God with your whole heart and put your whole live in His hands while demonstrating your God's dependency.
If you commit your live to the Lord, acknowledge Him for His sovereign power, wisdom, kindness and grace, He will direct your paths. Living in sin can destroy that relationship.
Don't worry, or be fret about any challenges or any trials, temptation and tribulations because they are issues God has already dealt with unless you want to be more clever than God - doing things your own way.
You are to search for Him, know Him and place your full confidence in Him.
Beloveth, to know God is to love Him; to love Him is to trust Him; to trust Him is to obey Him and to obey Him is to be blessed by Him.
No one goes empty handed who puts his confidence and trust in the Lord.

    Prayer
Give me a heart, Oh Lord, that is willing to obey You, acknowledge You and to respond in faith to the wisdom You give me.
I pray, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You instruct me and teach me in the way I should go not relying on my own understanding, to counsel and watch over me.
