    Bible verse: Psalm 119:18
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

    Lesson
We need to know the wonderful things concealed from our spiritual eye in
    the absence of spiritual light.
    They include among other things:
    - the meaning of life
    - how to get to heaven - we cannot bribe God to let us in.
    - victory over sin
    - teachings about quality of life such as joy, love, prosperity, parenting, marriage, forgiveness, blessings, causes, business and health
    - Lord's promises about his convenant and to provide knowledge and wisdom.
God has given us his ideas about all of these things for free and all can be found in the Law book - The Holy Bible.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, we need to read, study and meditate on the valuable information and the untold blessings of the Scriptures.
Until God opens our spiritual eyes we shall not and cannot behold the wondrous things in God's law and it will be difficult to understand and pocess the precious & mervelous things therein.

Therefore, we must strongly desire to have spiritual light and give up those worldly pursuits which divert our attention from holiness and
prevent us from knowing the hidden treasures of the Law.
So doing, we shall surely find ourselves dwelling in the spiritual instead of the natural world.

    Prayer
Oh Lord, shower your spiritual illumination upon my head to supply my spiritual eyes with light and open thou mine eyes that I may behold and admire the spiritual truths and look up to the precious things revealed in your law.
Help me to find & secure myself dwelling in the spiritual instead of this natural world in Jesus name.
Let me be seeking you above all things and always make you the first in all my thoughts and undertakings in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Mark 6:52
For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

    Lesson
This was the evening of the miraculous feeding of the 5000 that Jesus walked out upon the water to meet his disciples. They were much
surprised and astonished to see him walk on the water -Mark 6:35-51
They had fallen into a state of hardness of heart because little impression and remembrance was made upon their minds by the miracle of the loaves and other miracles they have witnessed. They ought not to forget that HE would have power to walk on the waters.
Likewise, we believers easily forget the goodness of God in our lifes and our memories are short lived whenever we face challenges.

Unlike the hardning of Pharaoh's heart, here it is hardening of the heart when:
    - God is not looked to and thanked as the author of our blessings & breakthrough
    - we do not understand and/or consider the truth as we otherwise would
    - we often embrace the grossest errors, and be very zealous in defending them
    - we prefer retaliation to forgiveness
    - our heart is under the influence of selfish motives
    - we justify the most palpable wrong doing and have some excuses for our misdeeds
    - we, like Saul of Tarsus, hunt and deliver our brethren over to judgment & destruction
    - we talk to our neighbors and others in the most outrageously impudent manner etc.

Brethren, we are in the same boat like the disciples.
If God is kind enough to bless us with life, grace, peace and joy, our hearts should not be hardened not to realise that He also has the altimate power to deliver us from every temptation, calamities and troubles and to abundantly bless us.

    Have you forgotten:
    - that you are among the living today?
    - the goodness and mercies of God upon your life?
    - the protection of God upon you and your loved ones?
    - the numerous blessings God have been releasing upon you?
    - that you can go about your daily activities and businesses?
    - that you are even blessed with a smart phone?
They are because of the love, grace & mercy of the Lord - not our doings.
Stop hardening your heart and start henceforth to be magnifying the Lord and singing praises to His holy name for all He is doing in your life.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, let my heart not be hardened that I cannot remember the miracles and blessings you poured upon my life.
Let the influences of hardness of heart not overshadow my sensibility
    and intelligence in Jesus name.
Save me from the sneers of the devil so I will not be comparatively ignorant of all truth in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 16:27-28
An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.

    Lesson
It is expected of the children of God not to slander, or plot evil againgst his brethren.
We are to give careful heed to what comes out of our mouth, avoiding corrupt words, abstaining from filthy talks, bearing false witnesses, disguise one's true feelings, deceitful praises to win another's favor and to manipulate, gossip, betray and destroy friendships.
Instead we are to love and forgive one another, speak that which edifies and walk in holiness.
If your behaviour is not Christ-like then you are a froward man and might face the wrath of God.

Remember, it is written "Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein".
Our whole lives must be an expression of our love towards God, our neighbours, friends and enemies.

    Prayer
Oh Lord, don't ever let me lose touch with the reality of your forgiveness, so that I can walk in that same forgiveness towards others.
Guide and let me walk by the Spirit and let his fruits define my behaviour every day of my life and let my speech always be with grace in Jesus name.
My mouth shall not be a place of curse but of blessing in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Isaiah 50:10
Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

    Lesson
Our Lord is distinguishing between two distinct characteristics here.
    1) The children of God, heirs of heaven, and children of light.
They fear the Lord, are obedient to his laws, walk in righteousness, obey the direction of the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of God is dwelling in them.

    2) The children of Satan, heirs of hell, children of darkness and are in the flesh.
They are obedient to the rules and regulations of Satan, have no fear of the Lord, casted off by the hand of divine judgment, comfortable with the riches of this world, walk in light but are in darkness.

They that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Though we always have the light of God surrounding us, we do not always enjoy the light, the brilliance and clear shining light of his countenance because of our sins.
And the good news is that God loves us and wants us to always lean on him.
When we face troubles and tribulations, when the valley is deep, when the darkness is thick, when there seem to be no solution, we are to have confidence and trust in the Name of the Lord.

Job was in a big mess, in a great darkness in agony.
He could not comprehend the dealings of God with him, he was struggling with his calamities; he could not find God to know the reason of the sore trials heaped upon him.
Though he has light he was in a state of darkness.
Guess what! Yet, his obedience was constant and he held fast his integrity, put his confidence and trust in God.

Yes! It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

    Prayer
Oh Lord, when darkness veils his lovely face, let me rest on your unchanging grace and love.
When I walk in darkness and you hide your way in a great deep, let your oath, your covenant, the precious blood of Jesus support me in the overwhelming flood.
Spirit of God, teach me to trust the wisdom, love, power and the mercy of our Lord in every situation in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Do you remember the prophetic Saturdays and the special request you are to make?
Were you obedient to the call?
Is today 10/10/2015 your chosen date? And did you make your request known to God?
Are you not aware of the prophecy? If yes, you can key now to the move of the Holy Spirit and make one specific request to God believing that before the end of the year your request will be granted.
The last prophetic Saturday is 12/12/2015.

    Prayer
The resurrection power that raised Jesus from the grave, that same supernatural power that also raised Lazarus, Dorcas and the daughter of Jairus from the dead that supernatural power shall raise you from the snears of the enemy and shall restore unto you whatsoever is in the possession of the enemy.

I declare, in the mighty name of Jesus, that any power hindering the glory of your life be consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.

May the almighty Father remove every siege obstructing and limiting your progress and breakthruogh in Jesus name.
Start praising the Lord of hosts for your request has been granted.
Thank you Lord for fulfilling the wishes of your children.

    Bible verse: Isaiah 59:1-2
Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

    Lesson
Our Lord is a merciful God. And He is as omnipotent as ever.
What is too hard for him to do? NOTHING!
Even in the belly of the fish, God heard and have mercy on Jonah.
In the prison cell where there seemed to be no hope, God heard and have mercy on Peter and Silas.
In the lion's den, His hands are long enough to save Daniel.
In the mist of fire, the Lord was not too weak to save Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

Brethren, sin is a barrier to blessings and it continually builds wall to isolate and cuts us off from God.
Sin makes the hands of God seem very short and hisears not hearingour cries.
So we must fight tooth and nail against every power of the devil and walk in righteousness.

It does not matter the gravity of your sin, where and whichever situation you find yourself, cry unto the Lord, acknowledge your sin, ask for mercy and the Lord God of hosts will hear and save you.

Have you confessed your sins to God, allowing him to cleanse you and welcome you back to his presence?

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, my heart cries out for my iniquities; I acknowledge my sins and I now surrender totally to your mercy.
Help me to deal with my pride, cover me with the garment of repentance, set me straight, and grant me the strength and ability to be doer of your word in Jesus name.
Thank you Lord, for been my defence and refuge.

    Bible verse: 1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    Lesson
The good news is that God has bound himself to acknowledge our genuine repentance and even the
iniquities of our fathers (Lev 26:40-), to forgive us and cleanse us from all sin because of his promises and because of Jesus death on the cross.

God's covenant with His people never changes because He is always faithful to His covenants and promises.
If we confess our sins and repent, He will forgive and restore unto us protection, power to overcome, prosperity, joy, happiness, divine fellowship and will fight our physical and spiritual battles.

All God is expecting from us is to act like the prodigal son, admit our sins; no shifting of blames, no attempt to minimize our wrong doings, no excuses; then confess and ask for forgiveness and mercy.

Yes! our LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth will have compassion on us.
And He will not cast us away.

    Prayer
O God Almighty, lead me in the path of righteousness and let me be quick to acknowledge and confess my sins.
Set a watch at the door of my lips, arrest every dreams of evil thoughts, guard and police my mind; and never allow sin to imprison my soul in Jesus name.
