    Bible verse: Proverbs 12:24
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.

    Message
Diligent is defined as having or showing care and conscientiousness in one's work or duties while _*slothful*_ is defined as very lazy.

Diligence is therefore intense and persistent effort; it is hard and continuous labour which only requires focused attention, maximum effort, and patient persistence. Diligence in your walk of faith leads to spiritual growth.

The slothful dislikes exertion, avoids hard work, paces himself in tasks, is slow and sluggish, resents pressure, is intimidated by challenges, cannot sustain strong efforts, is easily distracted, and has little drive.
Lazy men are losers. They end up oppressed and persecuted in life; they will be used by others as doormats, and rightly so.
The diligent man will always accomplish his goals and always end up on top, and the lazy end up at the bottom.

Beloveth, it is laziness to spend most of your time in churches expecting miracle to happen. And it is self deceit to thinking that taking life easy makes life easier.
Don't forget that a diligent truck driver can earn more than a lazy doctor. The unproductive times you spend in churches will cost you the blessings and prosperity you are seeking.

Diligence and laziness are choices - choose diligence and end up on top or choose laziness and end up at the bottom.
Help yourself up the corporate ladder by hard work. Or, be lazy, and carry the ladder for others to climb.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant me the divine energy of the Holy Spirit to propelling me forward to diligently give full undivided attention and spiritual concentration to what You have called me to do on this planet.

    Bible verse: 1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

    Message
No one had ever fully perceived and understood the value and beauty of those things which God has prepared for His people.
God in His grace has revealed to us that He has prepared amazing and wonderful things for those that love and trust Him.
They include all the provisions of mercy, wisdom, peace, joy and happiness, the forgiveness of sin, justification by faith; righteousness, sanctification, the complete and final redemption from sin.

God loves you and He has a plan for you therefore avoid obstacles like ignorance, ego, self-centeredness and personality defects
that will put you away from His presence.
Because God wants all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength invested in your relationship with him - Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength and He will give you a surprise blessing and/or favour.

    Prayer
O God, by your grace I am filled with hope and strengthened by Your hand.
Open my ears to hear your voice and my heart to receive that which You have prepared for me in Jesus name.
Thank You Heavenly Father, that in Your goodness and grace You chose to reveal Yourself.

    Bible verse: Deuteronomy 28:9
The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.

    Message
Blessings in life are gifts from God and His blessings are attached to His commandments.
Yes! His promise of a fulfilling and abundant life is given to all, not a selected few.
It does not matter who you are, what race or nationality, how educated or rich you are, whether single or married, God wants you to be blessed.
But you must be obedient to His rules and walk in His ways, recognize that good and perfect gifts come from God.

Obedience is better than religious activities. Obedience opens the resources of heaven. Nothing else will.
Be swift to hear and slow to speak, be slow to wrath, earnestly seek the Lord in prayer, repent of your sins, and whatever you do for the Lord, do it from the heart with gladness and to the glory of God.

    Prayer
Thank You Lord that You have given me promises in Your Word.
Help me in the practical circumstances of life - to be wise, be careful, be obedient to Your word, be slow to wrath with a transformed heart of forgiveness in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 2:11
Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

    Message
Discretion is defined as the quality of behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing offence or revealing confidential information.
Discretion knows what to do, when to do it, and how to do it in various circumstances.
Understanding is discerning a situation, its hidden dangers, subtle errors, and the right course of action.
Most men get into difficulties or temptations in life that cost them dearly in many different ways because of lack of discretion and understanding.
Beloveth, discretion and understanding will not only preserve your soul; they will also preserve your life and your assets.

What precautions are you undertaking to protect yourself from danger?
Whichever method you resolve to, they are nothing but worldly precautions.
Seek God asking for discretion, understanding, humility, wisdom and the spirit of discernment.

    Prayer
dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your guidance.
Give me a heart of discernment to know when You are using someone to speak instruction into my heart and my circumstances, and give me the strength and courage to follow through with that advice, even when it is hard.

    Bible verse: Deuteronomy 28:1 contd.
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

    Messages
Beloveth, it is God who has protected and preserved you in this world that is a barren wilderness until this good hour, and it will be God who will carry you into the future.
God is the source of all blessing and He will never withhold any good thing from you.
Because God is able and He is the source of all blessings, you must look to Him and trust in Him for the need, the blessing, the victories.
You can always trust Him to do the right thing, at the right moment even if it is not a pleasant thing.

Beloveth, you should note that God's blessings are attached to His commandments - hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments, to love your neighbours and enemies as God loves you.
Yes! God's blessings are activated by your choices - choosing obedience over rebellion and live to please God and not man.

    Prayer
May the Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee.
May the Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
The Lord bless thee, and keep thee and grant the the heart of obedience in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Deuteronomy 28:1
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

    Messages
Beloveth, there is a small price to pay for God to grant you His devine favor and to set you high above nations - not allowing Satan to control your life and not to be conformed to this world.
Without the knowledge of the factors that destroy the favour of God in a man's life and taking sound preventive actions; it will be difficult to walk in righteousness.

    These factors include among others:
    - Lack of faithfulness in the service of God;
    - Favour: Noah enjoyed devine favour because of his faithfulness in the service of God.
    - Disobedience: King Saul lost his kingship out of disobedience.
    - Pride: Satan lost his highly placed position out of pride;
    - Humbleness: God will give grace to the humble, but will resist a proud person
    - Prayser: Esther prayed, she found favour before the king, likewise Nehemiah prayed and received favor.
    - Sowing the seed of wickedness will deny you of protection and favour; Adoni-bezek is a good example.
    - Giving: the Shunamite woman gave sacrificially and received abundantly.

    Prayer
I denounce and reject the spirit of disobedience, pride, stinginess, prayerlessness and anything that will draw me away from the site of the Lord in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Acts 2:28
Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

    Message
With your knowledge of the word in the Scriptures, God has made known to you the ways of life - a life of joy and gladness.
Yes! He has stipulated also the path to happiness or the highway to ruin, the road to preferment or honour.
But one thing is sure, God wants you to be growing in His joy and gladness and to be conformed to His holiness.

Beloveth, to really know the ways of life, you must allow the Spirit to control and direct your life as well as your understanding and allow him to interpret the scriptures to you as you meditate on it.
Furthermore, you should be aware of the blessings attached to obedience and walking in righteousness and the consequences of doing otherwise.

As you walk in holiness and allow your lifestyle and behaviour to be in line with what God has set in place, God will make you full of joy and peace.

    Prayer
Oh Lord, shower Your spiritual illumination upon my head to supply my spiritual eyes with light and open thou mine eyes that I may behold and admire the spiritual truths and look up to the precious things revealed in Your Law in Jesus name.
