    Bible verse: Acts 2:23-24
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

    Message
If there is no resurrection, our death is without deliverance, our service is without significance and we shall not be saved.
But beloveth, there is good news from the graveyard this morning:
Jesus Christ of Nazareth - the source of life, the Lord of life, the prince of Life has risen from dead. he is alive.
The Son of God had broken the power of death.

Yes! the devil couldn't hold him, the grave has lost its victory and Jesus is alive forevermore.
Therefore we can know our sins are forgiven forever.
Beloveth, the resurrection proves the power of God over the realm of death and it shows that it is impossible that death could hold Jesus.
Yes! Jesus had the power to lay down his life and the power to take it back up again for this commandment he hath received from God.
Time to appreciate, thank and rejoice in the Lord for sacrificing His only son for the remittance of our sins.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, it is Your promise: "I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm", I pray o Lord, let all the stolen hidden potentials and gifts that will make me great, all the damages done to my life, all the lost and damaged glories, be repaired and restored with the resurrection power in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: *Proverbs 29:25 contd.*
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

    *Message*
It is Easter weekend, of whom should you be afraid. Jesus has been nailed on the cross and as He has rightly said "It is finished" so your fears have been nailed and it is finished with those fears, those disturbances, those failures and disappointments.
Jesus is crucified for you to have life and life in abundance granting you the spirit of boldness.

Beloveth, it is impossible to be a true follower of Christ and have fear of man or have respect for the approval of men, or base your decisions on the thoughts and approval of men.
The fear of man can only lead to disaster and will focus your mindset on the things of this world.
    Do you remember that:
    1) Peter fearing the people denied Jesus.
    2) Pilate was afraid of man and he compromised justice see the scriptures in John 19:12-16
12 And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.
13 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.
    3) Aaron was afraid of the people when Moses was not around and made golden calf - Exodus 32:22-24
    4) For fear of the Jews, the people were unable to openly speak about Jesus - John 7:13 + 9:22
13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Change therefore your attitude and let your fear be of the Lord.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things - Philippians 4:8

    Prayer
Dear Lord, You are the God of comfort, of hope, of joy and peace, give me a heart that abides in You so that Your fear and only Your fear shall be my guidance in all my activities and decision making in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Hebrews 9:28
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

    Message
On the cross, Jesus completed the assignment God has given him by shedding his blood for the redemption of our sins.
Yes Satan was defeated on the cross. Yes! Those seeking your downfall, your shame, your failure and that fear of man - It was finished on the cross.
With death of Jesus on the cross Satan was defeated, the key was withdrawn from him and your sins are forgiven.
Yes! Jesus died that we might be cleansed, be pure and that we might lead a victorious life - a fearless life, lfe of righteousness and obedience.
The cross of Jesus Christ is the only, but the sure, way of salvation, the hope and the victory over death.

Brethren, Jesus Christ shall appear without sin, the second time to save those who walk in holiness and are eagerly awaiting him. And on that day judgment shall come without mercy.
    - Are you looking for Christ in your own self-centered way or allowing your life to be regulated by Him?
    - Is it your greatest expectation and desire to be with Christ at His second coming?

    Prayer
Guide me oh Lord, to walk circumspectly so that if You would appear at my side, I wouldn't embarrass You but enjoys a vital union with You amd Your been nailed on the cross shall not be in vain.
Grant me Oh Lord, the grace to living my life in obedience to Christ, a hope that will never make me be ashamed or be afraid and a righteous life preparing me for the second coming of Christ in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 29:25 contd.
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

    Message
Beloveth, the fear of man can come from many sources and can lead one to following the wrong path in life and causing one to live unrighteously.
Glory be unto God, He has the power to free us and he wants us living in the safe freedom of trusting him.
God has not given you the spirit of fear but of boldness.
Put therefore your trust in God and His word and you will be safed and will enjoy the blessings attached to trusting and fearing God.
David was not discouraged by his oldest brother’s accusation or afraid of the giant Goliath nor allow the opinion of others to intimidate him in his decision making process.
Daniel did not fear the lion's den, for he kept up his daily habit of prayer in spite of the new law trusting God.
Likewise, Shedrach, Meshach and Abed-nego were not afraid of Nebuchadnezzar or his fiery furnace but trust the Lord they serve.

Beloveth, do you care what others think of you or live on rumours, make decision based on the environment and thought of others? Then you are a candidate to be tempted to compromise.
Beloveth you must must lay it aside the fear of man and question exactly what you are afraid of and why and put on the whole armour of God.

    Prayer
Oh Heavenly Father. Let the fear of man just fall away, as my heart desires to seek You because You are the rock of my life, my fortress, and my strength, even when I am weak.
Thank You Lord for Your love, guidance and protection.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 29:25
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

    Message
The fear of man which is the opposite of fearing God can come from many sources.
Fear of man shows itself in different ways in different personalities, but it’s there in all of us.
You are either afraid of the displeasure or rejection of man so you do what you can to keep their approval and stay friends.
You are afraid of what people will say therefore you dance to their tones and act to please the world. If you let them affect your decision makings, you will be tempted to compromise and will be pushed into sin.
Beloveth, the approval people or your environment give or withhold will force you to alter your beliefs or actions in order to keep your standing with them. You will be pushed to live like the world and instead of measuring your life by the word of God, you are concerned about popular opinion.
You should not allow yourself to be intimidated by the opinions or persecution of others.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
You are encouraged to put your trust on the almighty Father who is your shield and protection.

    Prayer
Oh Heavenly Father. I pray for help and strength to overcome the thoughts of “what do they think?” and stand on the Word of God as my weapon.
I renounce the fear of man, the fear of intimidation, the fear of compromising, the fear of displeasure or rejection, the fear of being treated unjustly in Jesus name.

    2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

    Message
Regardless of the difficulties you are facing, you are directed to be joyful.
While being tried, you are to sing praises and refrain from murmuring and complaining.
Even afflictions are to be approached with thankful hearts.
Temptations are challenges and trials and not to be considered as pain, sadness or great discouragement.
Do not allow your carnal spirit to control you else evil, self-gratifying, complaining, lustful attitude will prevail in you.
Trials, beloveth, confirm your faith, purify your faith and grow your trust in God because you will see the trustworthiness of His word and character.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego fell into divers temptations but did not submit to the trial instead grew their trust in the Lord.

Let us be grateful for the life God has given us, the obstacles He has removed, delivering us from every temptation, for the future blessings that are on the way and develop a steadfast faith in God, who maketh all things work together for good to them that love him.

    Prayer
Gracious Father, help me to understand that while I may be content to rest with what I have gathered grant me a heart full of love, patience and thanksgiving in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Jeremiah 29:14 contd
And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

    Message
It is written: "the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy."
The only reason why the devil is planning, strategizing, enticing and fighting you daily is to ensure that you loose your soul to the hell fire on the last day.
Beloveth, God does not create you to be in captivity. The only person that is responsible for your captivity is the devil and you giving him the key.
He will use the spirit of captivity to steal your joy, identity, your peace, your marriage, your sensing of God's presence if you allow him.
Captivity, don't forget, undermines your confidence and it takes away your sense of purpose in life thereby causing you be in search of the treasures of this world, allowing you to wandering from one thing to another, trying to find satisfaction.
You become desperate for prophecy, miracles and wonders thereby falling victim of those false prophets and eventually become blindfolded of your own sins.
But God will turn away your captivity if you are willing and prepared to.
Yes! you must realize that change is inevitable in your life, you must desire for change and transformation, and you must pursue change without taking note of any discouragement by the people around you.
Remember that blind Bartimaeus cried out unto Jesus for the restoration of his lost eyesight despite oppositions and discouragements.
You must therefore believe that solutions exist for you through Christ Jesus because with God nothing shall be impossible and you must trust God for His deliverance power and mercy.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, as this day unfolds, I choose to lean on You, and not my understanding; I choose to step on the path of grace, and off the highway of my willfulness and trying to find satisfaction.
Keep me from impatient obsessing and help me to have perfect trust in Your protecting love and strengthening power, so that nothing may frighten me for living close to You in Jesus name.
