    Bible verse: 2 Chronicles 23:19
And he set the porters at the gates of the house of the LORD, that none which was unclean in any thing should enter in.

    Message
Just as in the physical, there are also spiritual gates and doors.
A city without a gate is open to various unwanted things and personalities.
The gates in your life are threshold places, times of discernment, moments of transition, moments of turbulence and decisions to be made.
Beloveth, you are the gatekeepers of your live, the keeper and guardian of your heart.
Sometimes, depending on who or what it is or in which circumstance you find yourself, you need to open that gate and sometimes you need to keep that gate of your heart closed.

Who or what are the people, opportunities, possibilities, and choices that stands at your gates and seeking entry into your life?
To whom do you need to open or close your heart - love, peace, faith, gossip, slander, deceit, fraud, shooting poison, destroying others etc.?
What pain or wound might you prevent by closing or what advantage might you have by opening thy gate?

If you allow the enemy to have access into the gate of your heart, it will control and possess the gate of your life but if on the contrary, you posses the gates of the enemy there is nothing that goes on in his camp that the Lord will not reveal to you.
The scriptures mandated you to guard jealously your heart.
Guarding your heart means staying awake, being watchful, and remaining diligent with the awareness of and reflection on what is happening within and outside you.

    Prayer
Oh Lord purify the gates of my life and let me posses the gates of my enemies in Jesus name.
With the gate of my heart wide open to Christ Jesus let no enemy posses the gates of my life in the name of Jesus.

    Bible verse: Jeremiah 29:12-13
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

    Message
Beloveth, it is another start of a week which God has ordained for you to receiving focus amidst the pandemic lockdown.
God is the only One who can make bad times and bad circumstances better.
God is the only One who can make good times and good circumstances even better.
It is a fact that in times of trouble we either succumb to the circumstances, or we call upon the Lord, asking Him to make the circumstances succumb to the diligence of faith we place in His overcoming ability.

Yes! So many times we look to God in hard times and circumstances, as the case is now during this lockdown, and God being the faithful caring Father that He is, sees us through those difficult times.
His eyes are everywhere watching over us. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. He has promised that when "ye shall go and and pray unto me I will hearken unto you"; and when ye shall seek the Lord with all your heart ye shall find Him.
Time to call upon the Lord, faithfully seek Him and pray unto Him interceding for our nations, families and loved ones.

Yet, we should take precautions in our hygiene as this covid-19 is real, but more importantly live our lives for the Kingdom of God and be counted in the circle of faith, trust and the diligence of both.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of life, sound health and mental orderliness and allowing me to witness another beautiful day in the land of the living.
I pray oh Lord of mercy, to perform every necessary surgical operations in our nations, so the world can overcome every disease and/or plague by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony in Jesus mighty name.

    Bible verse: 1 Corinthians 2:13
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

    Message
Words are the signs of thoughts therefore there must be a supervision over the words used, to accurately express the sense which it is intended to convey.
The Holy Ghost, if you allow him to perform, will lead you in ways you cannot see, will instruct you in what, why and how you should speak and at the same time help you to hang on to positive goals, purposes and satisfactions regardless of our present situation and condition.
The inspired, Word of God, which contains all you need for life and godliness are contained in the holy Scriptures.

Beloveth, Spiritual truth is not acquired through any approach, other than by direct revelation to God's holy ministers and teachers because God uses his servants as he carries out His great works.
It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit that you can understand God's word.
Yes! the fruit of the Spirit will enable you to live more out of His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control.

    Prayer
May the Lord enable me by His Holy Spirit to speak effectively and honestly and to govern my speech with the qualities from God's Word in Jesus name.
Thank You Lord, for the indwelling Holy Spirit, who continues to guide me into all truth, as I study the Scriptures and submit to the Holy Spirit's leading and guidance.

    Bible verse: Romans 8:35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

    Message
Nothing except you yourself through your unwillingness to repent and/or walk in holiness or you allow Satan to control your life.

No one can make a charge stick against you in the court of heaven - no matter who accuses you, no matter the level of tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword.

When you are faced with challenges or feel that you are far from the love of God or forsaken or your focus on successful and prosperous life has vanished, even when all seems lost, the love of Christ is effective in protecting you from separation.
No one can put barrier between you and your Lord except you live an unrighteousness life and love the things of this world above everything.
Beloveth, NOTHING can take from you the love of Christ.
Yes! Nothing shall separate you from His exceeding affectionate, matchless, free and undeserved, everlasting and unchangeable love because Jesus is interceding for you.

Make God your first choice and your stronghold, put your trust and hope in God, do not see the challenges bigger than God and seek for solution in God.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant me the grace to accept my limits, the faith to trust you more and a greater willingness to let you have full control of my life.
I forsake the illusion of my competency and cast myself on you so that nothing shall separate me from your love in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 1 Corinthians 15:58
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

    Message
Unless you are firmly grounded in God's Word and led by His Spirit, you can easily be led astray and loose focus.
Only by ensuring that your faith rests firmly on what God has said in His Word clearly, and not on anyone's contrived misinterpretation or misapplication of God's Word will you be unmoveable.
If what you want is to have a faith that is steadfast and sure for all your labours, then you must stand upon immovable grounds for it - grounds that are solid, firm and stable, and that can easily bear the weight of your confidence and trust. Stand on the words of God.

Your level of the knowledge of God's word will determine the level you can be carried away by those wolves in sheep's clothing who transformed themselves into the apostles of Christ.
You are to be firm, persevering, unshaken and not easily discouraged in your Christian hopes, responsibilities and commitments, and be always abounding in the work of the Lord.
Beloveth, do not allow the circumstances of life or temptations or failures or financial setbacks blow you out of the water or to place any limits on your service to God.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, do not permit me to grow weary or tired in my services to You, but to live a balanced life, steadfast and unmovable by disappointments and temptations in Jesus name.
Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: and know that my labour is not in vain in the Lord because thou, LORD hast holpen me and blessed me.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 20:17
Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

    Message
Deceit is any act aimed at the concealment, distortion or misinterpretation of truth while lying is simply the act of deliberately presenting something which is known to be untrue as truth. Both are the tools of the devil and they are sins.
Your deceit or lie may seem sweet right now, but once exposed, the repercaution is usually fatal and consequently no one will trust you again.
Yes! the devil and your carnal senses will greatly exaggerates the pleasure of sin, but will never warn of the dire consequences - a mouth full of gravel.

Dishonesty and lying and submitting yourself to deceit will ruin you in this life and the next.
Your trouble will soon be similar to that of Eve and Amnon.
Gehazi got Namaan's leprosy for lying to his master Elisha about a little silver and some clothes.
Amnon craved sex with his half sister Tamar, his sweet bread became gravel.
Eve thought the fruit looked good, would taste good, and could make her like God; her sweet bread indeed became gravel.

Make honesty and integrity permanent traits of your character, repent of any deception in your life, reject any thought that justifies deception or lying or any sin and repent for allowing sin to deceive you into thinking you can get away with lying and other sins.
Run to the God seeking forgiveness.

    Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, help me to live my life in a way that does not gratify my flesh, but rather feeds my spirit that is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb in Jesus name.
I pray and thank You Lord, that You lead and deliver me from every temptation of lust, sin and evil desires.

    Wednesday, 15th April 2020

    Bible verse: Proverbs 11:27
He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.

    Message
Beloveth, what you seek will eventually be seeking you.
It is written: "the face of the Lord is against them that do evil while the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers."

If you choose to seek after that which is evil you are seeking the wrath of God and mischief will be your portion.
If you are selfish or love to hurt others, if you are bitter or envious, or if you sow discord or irritate others, if you seek shooting poison at others or destroying and/or killing others then you are in for a painful and troubled life.

Beloveth, you are offered to choose between success and trouble, favour and mischief, between life and death.
    Which will you choose?

If you are good to men, you will be blessed, if you seek mischief you will be cursed.
Don't forget, it is the mind of Christ that believers should seek the welfare and benefit of others and to do good even to their enemies.
Meaning, the key is how you treat others.
The favour of God, which includes all the elements of happiness by well doing, or sorrow by ill-doing awaits you depending on your choice.
The eye of the LORD is upon those who seeketh good to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, instead of wasting energy on fretting evil, help me use that same energy for loving my neighbours, do good to my enemies and guard me from the shallowness and self-focus that can so easily become my practice in Jesus name.
