3rd Week, December 2020
21st - 15th December

    Monday, 21st December 2020

    Bible verse: Psalm 45:7
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

    Message
Thou should not only do that which is good, and avoid that which is evil but thou should do things from a pure and internal principle, from a sincere and most fervent love of righteousness, and an implacable hatred of all wickedness.

Beloveth, you cannot serve two masters; you either love righteousness, and hate wickedness or love wickedness and hate righteousness.
It is either you are a success or a failure; spiritually rich or spiritually poor.
Dependent on your choice, God will raise and exalted thee far above all men, to a state of joy and endless glory and anoint you with the oil of gladness or on the other hand you will encounter God's wrath.

As you are entering the glorious week of the birth of Christ, you are to love righteousness and hate wickedness and let faithfulness, integrity and love be your utmost desires.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of life, sound health and mental orderliness.
I pray that You enrich and fill me in a singular manner with the fullness of the Spirit in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 22:3
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

    Message
Prudence is usually seen as the ability to know when to act and when not to act; when to open one's mouth and when to keep it shut.Prudence involves knowing what is true and right rather than false and wrong.
Prudent men are farsighted and foresighted and they see the danger ahead, so they avoid it by making wise decisions based on principal and managing your practical affairs in a shrewd and discreet manner.

Fools on the other hand are near-sighted, confidently rush on with little regard to the risk and future consequences of their actions forgetting that haste makes waste.
Yes! short-sightedness is dangerous, for what might work or be safe now may have bad future consequences.

Beloveth, there is the need to hide your mind from certain things, from certain rumours, gossips, certain lifestyle and pollution of the mind.
Abstains from all appearances of evil, or what would lead you to it and avoid going on careless and unconcerned in any sinful course of life, transgressing the law of God.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, make me a person of prudence and help me to practice good judgement and act responsibly - by learning, by preparing, by listening, and making good choices with peace and joy in my heart in Jesus name.

    Saturday, 19th December 2020

    Bible verse: Psalm 30:1
I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

    Message
Beloveth, do you have a reason to give God thanks for the praise that is in your heart?
The grace of the Lord has uplifted you from the pit of hell, from the ditch of sin, from the bondage of doubts and fears, and His mercy has provided you protection, guidance favour.
You are among the living soul despite the covid-19 pandemic.

As for me, I will lift high the name of our God, for He has lifted me up above the stars, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
Others may forget thee, murmur at thee, despise thee, blaspheme thee, but I will extol thee, for I have been favoured above all others.
I will extol thy name oh Lord, thy character, thine attributes, thy mercy to me, and I will have high and honourable conceptions of thee.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, give me the ability to trust You with all my heart so my intentions and choices are truly Yours, not mine.
Grant me the spirit of appreciation and thankfulness in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 18:19
A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.

    Message
Unity among brethren makes them invincible because natural ties are stronger than artificial and when they are once broken, they are hardly made up again.
Great care must be taken to prevent quarrels among relations, and those that are under special obligation to each other, not only because they are most unnatural and unbecoming, but because between such things are commonly taken most unkindly, and resentments are apt to be carried too far.

Avoid every disagreement and offence that you possibly can. And if you cannot avoid them all, then settle them quickly and be especially careful with those you are closest to.
Small offences and/or uncontrolled tongue can ignite family or marital feuds, their love being turned into hatred.

Be wise, dear brethren, and see the value of being gracious and kind when you face a difficult relational situation.
See the value of a long-term relationship with the other person rather than just wanting to win that particular argument.
Realize that confrontation is something that needs to be approached in love.

Be careful in what you say - speaking in love and acting in love. Your words can bring great satisfaction and heal division.
Guard all your friendships and relationships carefully. Keep peace with great diligence noting that it is what comes out your mouth that will defile you.

    Prayer
dear Lord, help me in all I do and say to avoid unnecessary offence and disputes. Forgive me for times when I have upset other people. May my speech be a source of life to those around me in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 4:23-24
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

    Message
Most of the things that will affect your life and destiny emanate from the heart.
Don't forget that what defiles a man, and what causes man to sin proceeds from the heart.
As long as the heart is polluted, your deeds will be sinful and you will loose out from God's plan.

Beloveth, have you ever been broken hearted, offended, emotionally disappointed, feeling drained, empty inside, depressed, full of anger, bitterness, or just hurt?
Or maybe you have been struggling with various temptations and sin?
Well, you needed to guard your heart. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Meditate therefore on the truths of God and His good thoughts given to you.
Remember that evil spirits want to cause confusion, havoc, sin and destruction in your live if you allow them. Let your focus be on God and the teachings of Christ.

    Prayer
Loving Father, to get closer to You, one must have a pure heart; help me to guard the purity of my heart, so that I am not corrupted by lies or deceived by temptations.
May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard my heart and my minds in Christ Jesus.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 18:20
20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

    Message
Beloveth, it is out of the abundance of our heart that our mouth speaks.
Speak kindly, most often those around you will love you and appreciate what you say and how you live.
Speak in an ungodly fashion, with harsh, unkind words and you will have spiritual heartburn.
Come with harshness and you will be resented or even cursed by the one who has received it while others will react badly at your evil words and will grant you what you've given to them.

Whether you know it or not, there is the power of life and there is the power of death within you.
Therefore guard your heart closely because it is the gate-keeper of your mouth.
Your mouth can pave the road of your lives with smooth pavement or with large rocks.

    Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, do not allow my tongue to get me into trouble and cause more problems than probably anything else in Jesus name.
Give me strength to guard my heart and let good thoughts flow in it only in Jesus name.
Wipe out dirty thoughts that may cause my downfall in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Mark 7:15
There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

    Message
With words you are able to express your innermost feelings thereby confirming the abundance of love or wickedness in your heart.
You are made to realise that *not* what a man eats and drinks, and in whatsoever way he does either, though he may eat and drink with unwashed hands, or out of cups, pots, and platters not properly washed; *renders* him a polluted sinful man in the sight of God.
But that it is sin in the heart, and what proceeds from it - wicked words, wrathful words and expressions, blasphemous, as well as all evil thoughts.

Beloveth, eating shrimp or bacon is nothing compared to the selfishness and pride that fills the hearts.
What comes out of your mouth; evil words, bad and nasty words, careless words, words of hypocrisy, slander, curses; resembles the deadly poison of a viper.
According to the Scriptures, you are likened to that dangerous, deceitful, hurtful and poisonous viper snake.

Yes! it is with your mouth you declare good or bad things in your life, in the life of your loved ones and your children.
Fill your mouth with life, not death - tame your tongue.

    Prayer
Enable me, Oh lord, to always open my mouth with wisdom, pronouncing love, words of encouragement, motivational words and let the teaching of kindness be on my tongue in Jesus name.
