Bible verse: 1 Samuel 30:6
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

Message
What do you do when you are distressed, weak, discouraged, faithless and no one to turn to?
Do you stay focused, encourage and motivate yourself or you see the problems as difficult or as an opportunity?
Are you asking God to do something without adjusting your life?

David was greatly distressed, was in a very serious situation but he did not allow the circumstances to control him, instead, he encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
What about you?
In whom and in what do you encourage yourself - in your friends, your families, your environment or the Lord your God?
Beloveth! the only solution is to encourage yourself in the Lord - the author and finisher of all things.
Do not be trapped by your unbelief and fear, or try to limit God because of your lack of trust, patience and your fear of stepping out in faith.
Remember that you can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth you.

Prayer
Thank You Lord that You give me the strength to keep on going, You are my encourager when I loose hope, during the heavy storms and tribulations You keep my path safe.
Lord, help me remember
Renew my faith in You Lord and never let me waver from Your path in Jesus name.

Message
Beloveth, when you are about to lose your way like Joseph, it is absolutely obvious and unarguably true that God will send someone, a destiny helper, into the fields of your live to ask "What are you looking for?"
You will be given directions but which way you go from there depends a good deal on where you want to get to, your reactions to your prophecies and the decisions you make of them.

Yes! it is your decision to dismiss the directives given or like Joseph acting promptly and following the directions given him thereby paving the way to his success of becoming a big shot in Egypt.
Like Joseph, you will encounter oppositions, obstruction, false accusations but all shall work for good if you do not loose focus, maintain your integrity and put your trust in the Lord.
Your hearing the message and/or prophecy, your respond and acting promptly on it can change everything in your life.

Prayer
Dear Lord, when I am wandering in the fields, or confused on what steps to take to attend my next level send me that stranger to give me Your godly directives and lead me in the right path in Jesus name.

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

Message
One of the duties of pastors is to help his flock to stay alert to the deceitful methods of Satan.
Unfortunately, false pastors, teachers and prophets have crept into this world trying their utmost best, as agents of Satan, to make sure that those who have known God return to their former bondage.
They are evil spirits who oppose God, and blind the minds of believers, and do their best to deceive them with their teachings/preaching and paste things rosy like Satan did unto Eve.

Beloveth, the elements of the world cannot give life, righteousness, peace, joy, comfort, and salvation.
Yes! through God you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son then an heir.
You are no longer under the dominion of sin, guilt, condemnation, and death and you should therefore desire not to be in bondage again.
It is written: "Resist the devil and he will flee from you".

Prayer
Thank You Lord for giving me the light of the knowledge of You.
Cause light to shine in my heart oh Lord, give me a spirit of devotion and let me be strong and courageous even in hard times so I cannot turn again to the weak and beggarly element in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Psalm 37:7
Rest in the Lord , and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Message
Beloveth, complaint, worry and anxiety will not solve problems.
Anxiety often creates other problems while fretting often leads to wrong actions.
Expectations when not met causes dissatisfaction, gives birth to comparison, complaints and provocation.
Consequently one will loose focus and be derailed.

Therefore:
- Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring to pass your heart desires.
- Trust and rest in the Lord, in His love, His mercy and His will and wait patiently for Him.
- Delight thyself in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Are you focusing on that brother that hath made it?
Do you at all know how and the sources of how he prospereth?
Are you fretting thyself because of him who prospereth in his way?

Do not fall into the trap of comparing, murmuring, complaint else you loose focus and be derailed.

Prayer
Dear everlasting Father, show me how to rest in You, calm my anxious thoughts and encourage my heart with Your nearness.
Settle me in Your truth and in Your love in Jesus mighty name.

Bible verse: Daniel 6:3 contd.
Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Message
Beloveth, those who remain in the crowd cannot become excellent in life, because excellence is a private matter, but with a public pronouncement.
You cannot be flocking around the multitude and achieve greatness in life.
And those who do things the way others do them cannot become excellent.
You have to, like Daniel and Joseph, identify your goal and begin to pursue it with vigour.
There will be mountains, hatred, treason, upholstery stones but you have to be willing to go the extra mile, be focused and trust God.

When you carry the presence of God, it releases the spirit of excellence in you which in turn gives you the wisdom to access the mysteries of life.
Yes! the presence of God gives you deep insight and wisdom for every difficult situation of life and makes you become a master over situations and circumstances through His presence.

Prayer
O God Almighty, I move and operate in excellence by the power in the blood of Jesus.

Message
The spirit of Excellence is a crucial requirement for being useful and relevant in the scheme of things.
It will never permit you to do things at a level which others are comfortable with.
It is what puts you on edge in God's programme and makes you a formidable force.
Excellence is what releases the gem in a man's life and makes him the envy of his generation - Daniel was a good example.
Excellence is the attainment of the highest level of perfection in anything you do.
You cannot have an excellent spirit and lack understanding.

Prayer
Almighty God, I declare and pray, that throughout my lifetime, my life will showcase the glory of God and excellency in Jesus name.
I thank You Lord, for this grace to excel in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Philippians 4:8 contd.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Message
Beloveth, only that which is worthy of the approval of God should be that which you should think upon, not bitterness and hostility, but admiration and affection.
Because of Joseph's commitment to excellence and God's hand upon him, Joseph rose to power in a nation that had once enslaved him.
Anything that even remotely consists of falsehood or that has the traits of dishonesty, or that of no good report are the complete opposite of truth and thus should not be what we dwell on nor should they find their way into our thoughts or actions.

God gives us His best in every way, we owe it to Him to pursue excellence in everything He gives us to do.
Beloveth, be predetermined that you are going to give everything in life your best forsaking revenge, bitterness, wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking.

Prayer
Father Lord, grant me grace to separate myself from whatever that may defile me in Jesus name.
Thank You Lord, because the stage is set for excellent manifestation for me.
