    Bible verse: Proverbs 20:16
Take his garment that is surety for a stranger: and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.

    Message
Surety is an arrangement in which one person becomes responsible for another.
Taking risks does not prove courage or wisdom; it is usually evidence of folly or haste.
Unnecessary risks tempt God, and He will punish such presumption.
If you co-sign for a loan for someone else, you are taking risks. If they default, you are responsible to guarantee that the provisions of that loan are carried out.
You are warned not to be foolish enough to be surety for a stranger because you will be personally responsible if he fails to hold to his obligation and if you do you should demand more security. Beware of men who take foolish risks.

Judah became a personal surety for Benjamin's safety by promising his father to take the blame and thus pay the price for the loss if it occurred and therefore became personally responsible for the loss if anything happened to Benjamin.

Christ is the One who guarantees that all the provisions of the covenant promise will be met.
Our Lord Jesus Christ, became a surety for us, had the garment of his human nature taken from him, which was a pledge and ransom for the sins of his people.

    Prayer
Oh Lord, any relationships that would sabotage my destiny let it be broken in the name of Jesus.
Let Your Spirit lead me not to take unnecessary risks and open my eyes to recognise when personal responsibility will be temptation to You in Jesus mighty name.

    Bible verse: 2 Corinthians 6:2
For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

    Message
The challenge of faith today is to ask how much hope we have that God is at work in our world.
How confident are you that truth overcomes lies, that non-violence is more effective than force, that forgiveness is more profitable than vengeance, that love is more profitable than hatred?
Beloveth, now is the accepted time to focus on eternal life, to realise that the myriad of problems that seem to be weighing you down can be resolved with your trust and focus on the Lord.

Behold, now is the time for you to receive what the enemies have stolen from you.
Now is the accepted time to choose to press past your mountains so that you can embrace the promises God has in store for you.
Now is the accepted time that God is sending you a destiny helper, and God will put you in a situation where others will do the work, clear the road and you will get the benefit.
Yes! it is the the appropriate season and accepted time that doors can open, opportunities can come, favours can come, and people you thought didn't notice you or even like you will begin showing interest in you.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, I give to You every area of my heart, I give You my questions, my disappointments, my doubts and fears.
I choose to trade my sorrow for Your joy.
I declare, in the mighty name of Jesus: it is my turn to shine.

    Bible verse: Psalms 147:7-8
7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

    Message
Thanksgiving is the natural response to the grace and goodness of a great and wonderful God who cares and provides for us.
Thanksgiving is the enemy of discontent and dissatisfaction.
Let us look back into our life and see the great things the Lord has done for us.

God grants the provision of life, life that is abundantly full of everlasting meaning.
Yes! the private, personal and spiritual blessings we enjoy deserve the thanksgiving of a whole life.
Great things the Lord has been doing in our life and greater things he is yet to do.
Brethren, let your hearts reply with gratitude, and your lips with song, for, God been more than gracious.

    Prayer
Yes! I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
Thank you, Lord, that you love me even when I am disobedience to your word and for the fresh grace and a season full of your promises.

    Bible verse: Job 22:27
Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

    Message
To God, and Him only for not a creature, angels, or men are to be prayed to, and this is to be done in a supplicating, entreating way, not pleading merit, but mercy, not presenting prayers and supplications for a your own righteousness' sake, but for the Lord's mercy's sake.
Come to God as your Father on a throne of grace, in the sincerity and uprightness of your heart, with boldness and confidence and in the faith where you may find grace and mercy to help you in time of needs and temptations.
Have you made a vow unto the Lord while praying or facing temptations and in difficulties?
And thou shall fulfil your promise and free yourself from God's anger, sin and receive unmerited blessings by paying your vows.

    Prayer
Thank You Lord for fulfilling my desires, and giving me what I ask of You.
Grant me Oh Lord, the grace to fulfil every vow I make so I can have delight in You and be able to lift up my face unto You for unmerited blessings.

    Bible verse: Romans 15:13
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

    Message
Very often we place our hope and trust in what isn't real - the environment, the people and the world forgetting that God is only one who gives hope, sustains hope and crowns hope.
When we face temptation, rejection, failures, disappointment we become frustrated and weak because our hope tank is on empty.
In that situation, no gnawing on the husk of worldly things, seek God who is the source of all true hope and put your hope in Christ your Savior and Lord.
Your hope can only be found in your belief and trust in God's word and remember that joy of the Lord is your strength.

The situation you are going through cannot be worse than what Joseph went through.
What sustained Joseph through all the trials and hopeless situations he experienced was HOPE in the Lord, perseverance, humility and a forgiving heart.

    Prayer
Thank You Lord for the blessings that abound in my live.
Help me to look at my live through Your lens, without outside influence, in true appreciation for what You are doing in my small corner of the world, within the walls of my house, and with the gifts and talents that You have given me in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 14:4
Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.

    Message
Oxen are large bovine animals. they are castrated bulls that have reached full maturity and strength.
They eat a lot and can be expensive and time-consuming to keep.
Consequently, if you don't have any oxen, you can save a lot of time and expense.
But oxen are labour-saving devices and the tools for an abundant harvest. It is characteristic for increase.
Christians can reap an abundant harvest by using tools of a spiritual nature.
They are to seek knowledge, Spiritual fruitfulness, wisdom, bodily health and strength and pray that they get the right tools.

Are you thankful to God for the labour-saving devices - tools for an abundant harvest - you use every day?

    Prayer
Great God, help me to be grounded in Your Word and don't rely on my own strength but rely on You the provider of knowledge and wisdom.
I fully commit my plans into Your hands and I trust You will help me to establish them in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 13:4 contd.
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

    Message
Beloveth, do you desire knowledge, but does not care to be at any pains to get it?
Do you desire riches, but choose not to make use of the means to be diligent and industrious?
Do you desire to wear good clothes and rich raiment, but unwilling to labour for them?
Do you desire food, and plenty of it, but refuse to work for it; knowing fully that he that will not work should not eat?
Do you desire heaven and happiness, but do not care to do the duties of a righteous man?
Do you desire to die the death of the righteous, but unwilling to live his life; to abstain from sin, and live soberly and righteously?
Do you sometimes look for an easier alternative?
If any of these is positive then you are a sluggard.
Repent and seek God before it is too late.
Dearly beloveth, because of the many traps and pitfalls that await the unwary pilgrim on his journey through this sinful world, wisdom is needed.
