Bible verse: 1 Samuel 12:24-25 contd
24 Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
25 But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.

Message
How can you serve the Lord with all your heart?
Beloveth, loving God with all your heart means making Him your greatest treasure as it is written that wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. You are to put Him first in whatever your situation is and whoever you are.
You should observe His commandments and apply His principles.
You should not allow the world and the way the world thinks to be a motivating factor in your life instead let the word of God be the motivating factor.
You should honor God with your abilities, your resources, your commitments and your actions.
You are to love the house of the Lord and contribute as much as you can.
Your service to God must be motivated by your love for Him and His children.
You must explicitly obey the will of God even when this is difficult and painful.
You are to preach the good news of God’s Kingdom thereby helping those in the world to draw close to our heavenly Father and delivering them from the camp of Satan.
You are to walk away from the world’s way of doing things, stop thinking like the world and do not allow the world’s way of thinking to guide you and dominate your lifestyle.
You should shun bad and compromising companions because bad company corrupts good morals.
You are to, among others, build one another up and encourage one another.

Prayer
I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Show me if there is anything I need to change or make right, that would hinder me from serving you with all my heart and to receive Your blessing in Jesus name.

Message
The fear of the Lord is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Beloveth, if you serve the Lord in truth and with all your heart therefore separating yourself from evil and wickedness will be a sure understanding. You will surely hate what God hates and you will be obedient to Him.
God on the other hand will be your refuge.
God will reward you with love, favour, mercy, good health, long and everlasting life.You will be the apple of His eyes and He will do all to guide you and your generations to come.
But if you shall still do wickedly, yeshall be consumed both ye and your generations. God will pour His wrath on you and there shall be no escape unless you repent and ask for forgiveness.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to be better in serving you in truth than I am now, to put aside every selfish desires and vain ambitions, to trust You with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding and in all my ways to submit to Your will in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Joshua 9:6
And they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men of Israel, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us.

Message
This world is full of diverse atrocities - people who stab others at the back but behave like angels in their presence, people who plan for the downfall of others but hails them at their sight, people who curses at the absence of one but prays for the same at his sight, people who dig pits for others, covers the pit and advice and/or encourage one to go over it and so on.
People who are jealous of your success, of your promotion or of your blessings and willing to be antagonist and even vowed to see to destroying you. Yes! to do so they need to come closer to you, to make friendship with you and to dance to your tone.
They went to Joshua not because they love him but out of hatred and to seek ways of getting into him and they said "are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt". They posted as ambassadors wanting to make league with him in the name of the Lord.
You need the spirit of discernment to be able to sort out those enemies disguising as friends because they will come to you in old sacks and in the name of the Lord.
Watch out !! And ask God to expose them so you will not fall victim.

May your enemies come in confession, bow before you and declaring:
"We be come from a far country: now therefore forgive us in the name of the Lord and make ye a league with us".

Prayer
Dear Lord, send confusion to the camps of my enemies and expose their evil thoughts in Jesus name.

Monday, 18th March 2019
Bible verse: John 7:10
But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

Message
Are you the type of believer that counts his hen before hatched or blow the whistle of your undertakings before you ever take a step?
Do you try to influence people of your achievements, power and position?
You therefore have pride as your special character.
Jesus, the mightier than the mightiest, the great physician, the great philosopher, the miracle worker went up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
You will like to attend every feast, occasions in publicity, at least one of the late comers so people's eyes can catch you, or you dress extravagantly for show off.
Here is Christ going to the feast not openly.
Time to examine yourself, your character, your pride, wasteful usage of worldly treasures. Ask God for a reshape and transformation of mindset.
Let Christ be your mentor.

Prayer
Dear Lord, I seek the spirit of humbleness and the spirit to detest influencing people of my achievements, power and position. Grant me the ability not to live extravagantly but to lay my treasure in heaven.
All these I ask in Jesus name.

2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

Message
How grateful are you this day that neither the enemy nor the night had swallowed you up?
Beloveth it is only the living souls that can go about their daily activities and can celebrate the Lord.
Did you know that it was not your alarm that woke you up this morning neither was your own doing that you can go around doing all things?
Yes it was the special grace of God.
When men rose up against you, when you face troubles, tribulations and temptations you were not swallowed up because God's presence was with you.
His presence guided you overnight and in your going out and coming in.
What a marvelous God.
Brethren, what do you give back to the Lord in appreciation?
Sing unto the Lord songs of praises, glorify His name and thank Him for His love and mercies.
Do not be like the ungrateful 9 lepers. This is your day of celebration.

Prayer
Thank You Father for Your presence in my life, thank You for Your protections when men rose against me and their wrath was kindled against me, thanks for Your kindness, love and mercy.
I ask for mercy in whichever way I have knowingly or unknowingly offended and/or disobeyed You in Jesus name.

Bible verse: John 6:12
When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

Message
Beloveth, you have been filled with the word of the Lord, filled with love, filled with protection and mercy.
You have received blessings and favour. You woke up this morning and you can read this message, you have been going about your businesses or your office.
You have a roof under which to lay your head.
You have enough to magnify the Lord both materially and spiritually.
God is commanding you to "Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost."
What are these fragments?
Yes! They are those in the world, and those who were born again but hath fallen back and/or are backsliding.
Those who hath not heard of the scriptures and/or blinded folded by Satan and his agents, those who lack the knowledge of Christ.
Yes! those in the world.
God wants you to reach out to them so they might not be lost.
It is now your duty to start gathering them together for the Lord.
Don't forget that it is your Christ-like lifestyle, your commitment, your knowledge of God and of the Scriptures, your character and integrity and words of exhortation and of encouragement are the five barley loaves, and two small fishes. The rest is the work of the Holy Spirit.
Do what you can do and let God do what you cannot do.

Prayer
Dear everlasting Father help me not to do anything out of selfish ambition or foolish vanity, but rather may I develop the godly grace to regard the needs and desires of others as being more important than my own.
Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others in Jesus name.

2 That they gathered themselves together, to fight with Joshua and with Israel, with one accord.
4 They did work wilily, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up;

Message
We are in the world full of diverse atrocities, self-centered and egoistic people. A world where people will be acting as friends and ambassadors of Christ but are enemies of progress and will be prepared to kill you at your back.
Their goal is to pull you down, to provide you a wonderful chair to sit on while cutting the legs of the chair.
They come but to kill and destroy and to expose you secrets and lifestyle.
Yes! the mind of man is full of wickedness.
"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." - Gen 6:5
Be careful therefore who to trust, who to expose your secrets and who to associate with.
They will have pepper in their mouth and want to help blow your face. They are seeking nothing but your downfall and opportunity to put you to shame.
Beloveth, like they gathered themselves together to fight Joshua so shall they gather but God shall send confusion into their camps and every evil plan in their mind shall be casted upon their necks.

Prayer
Everlasting Father, let my soul be delivered from the forces of evil, all satanic powers, those who disguised to be ambassadors but are agents of Satan and let my eyes be controlled by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
Purify my thoughts, o Lord, and let my ways be pleasing to You in Jesus name.
