Bible verse: Proverbs 8:13
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Lesson
Fearing God saves us from caving into our own sinful nature, leads us to a satisfying life, provides strong confidence, motivates us to repent, works out our own salvation and allows us to repent and turn to God thereby paving way to an eternal life.

What does the Scriptures says about the fear of the Lord?
The fear of the Lord:
- is the beginning of knowledge - Prov 1:7
- prolongs our days - Prov 10:27
- provides strong confidence and is a fountain of life - Prov 14:26-27
- prompts one to depart from evil - Prov 16:6
- leads to a satisfying life, and spares one from evil - Prov 19:23
- is the way to riches, honour, and life! - Prov 22:4
- deliver souls from death, and to keep them alive in famine - Psalm 33:18-19
- fulfill the our heart's desires, hear our cry, and save us- Psalm 145:19
- is your help and their shield - Psalm 115:11
The fear of the Lord gives us the confidence to obey His rules. Brethren, eternal life is our goal.

Prayer
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.
Dear Lord, let me not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; grant me the boldness to always put my trust in You, strengthen me and uphold me with the right hand of Your righteousness in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Lesson
The soul is the the immortal part of a man's life while the body is the physical part.
Yes! men can destroy one's physical life but has no power to injure the soul talk-less of destroying it.
It is only God that can destroy both soul and body. Therefore fear his wrath and judgement.
If God judges a person to be unworthy of His Kingdom he has the power and authority to cast that person into hell.

Both the body and soul of any person, who has NO fear of the Lord and/or refuses to repent of his/her sins, will be destroyed in the lake of eternal hell fire.

You with unforgiving heart and deceitful tongue, slanderer, backbiter, gossiper, false accuser, liar, you are acting in disobedience to the Laws of the Father and provoking His wrath.
Lest you repent, be transformed and have a change of mindset, both your soul and body will be destroyed in hell.

Do not allow your life to be controlled by Satan and his agents instead submit to our Lord, put your trust and faith in Him. He is the only one that can save or destroy both soul and body.

Prayer
It is written "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge".
Dear Lord, put the fear of You in my heart that I may not turn from you.
Let me be devoted to your fear; and let me continue in the fear of the Lord everyday, 24/7 and all my days in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Matthew 12:34
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Lesson
Yes! with words you are able to express your innermost feelings thereby confirming the abundance of love or wickedness in your heart.
It is with your mouth you declare good or bad things in your life, in the life of your loved ones and your children.
Knowingly or unknowingly those words will become their own damnation and demise!
It may not materialise immediately, but it will surely come to past.

What comes out of your mouth; evil words, bad & nasty words, careless words, words of hypocrisy, slander, curses; resembles the deadly poison of a viper.
According to the Scriptures, you are likened to that dangerous, deceitful, hurtful and poisonous viper snake.

Examine yourself and seek forgiveness from the Father and renew your mindset.

Prayer
Enable me, Oh lord, to always open my mouth with wisdom, pronouncing love, words of encouragement, motivational words and let the teaching of kindness be on my tongue in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Proverbs 13:3
Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.

Lesson
What proceeds out of the tongue can be filled with hate or love, bitterness or blessing, motivation or discouragement, complaints or compliments, victory or defeat and can bring healing or cause irreparable harms.

Brethren, guard your tongue because once words left your mouth, they can never be retrieved.

Which are the characteristics of unguarded mouth?
- backbiting
- boasting
- gossiping
- false accusations
- lying
- curses
- slander
- speaking against a servant of God
- speaking evil of a brother/sister
- negative speeches

Can you rule your mouth to save your life? Or does your mouth rule you and consequently destroying you?
Ask God to fill your mouth with His praise all day long and to make you a blessing to someone.

Prayer
Dear Lord, help me to speak life and healing words to those around me, to walk in love; always offering words of kindness, peace and encouragement in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Lesson
God created heaven and earth with the power of His tongue and He also declares curses and/or punishments with the same tool. Yes! Life & death are in the power of the tongue.

The power to use your tongue is a unique and powerful gift from God which can be used to build up people or destroy them.

With the tongue we praise our Lord the Father almighty, bless our loved ones and out of the same mouth comes curses.
This powerful tool can also be used to help you reach your goals or to send you spiraling into a deep depression, destroy your spirit, defile your whole body, stir up violence and even lead you to hell fire.

Brethren, let us distance ourself from all corrupt communications because we will be judged or condemned for every careless or idle word we speak.

Prayer
Dear Lord, let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk ever come out of my mouth, instead only such speech that is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others in Jesus name.

Bible verse: 2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Lesson
Spiritual power is given to the righteous and those committed to understanding of God's power and obedient to His instructions.

It is the mighty power of the Lord that raised Jesus, Jairus son, Lazarus and Dorcas from death.
It is His mighty power that separated the red sea, caused the sun and the moon to stand still at the spoken words of his servant.

Without the Lord's given mighty spiritual power you won't have the energy to face the demands of life, avoid the temptations of life, face the tragedies of life, resolve to do the right things in life etc.

To be partaker in this spiritual power, there is a price to pay:
- be willing to use the power to accomplish God's plan and purposes through your live
- walk in righteousness
- have a forgiving heart
- have a repenting heart and mind
- be uncompromising to the things of the Lord
- be obedient to His Laws
- seek God's will and trust Him in every circumstances
- server God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength
- love your enemies

Prayer
Dear Lord, let me understand fully the incredible greatness of your power and crown me with the spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Psalms 34:22
The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Lesson
What a blessing!
The righteous are taken under the special protection of the Lord.
Therefore there is no room to entertain fear because you shall never be deserted, forsaken or given up to ruin.
But you must serve the Lord in truth and in spirit with true repentance, living faith, obedience and trust in the Lord.

Prayer
Oh Lord, keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me in Jesus name.
