    Bible verse: John 1:19-20
19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?
20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

    Message
There is a saying that: A man's mountain is his ignorance.
Beloveth, the difference between the rich and the poor is information.
Some have the information that will advance him in life and the others do not have it.
Knowledge determines the difference between the great and the small - knowledge to know who you are, what you are, the will of God for you and His promises concerning you, knowledge to make the right decision at the right time and season.
You need to be clear on who you are in God's kingdom so that you can effectively point others to Jesus for salvation.
But don't forget that people will judge you through your character, actions, the words of your mouth, your pride, sincerity and integrity or as people pleaser, unstable or unreliable or disciplined personality .
The devil is not interested for you to know who you are as he is always ready to put doubt and fear into your mind and ready to confuse you in doubting your identity.
Remember the devil thought he could confuse Jesus to doubting His identity, by saying: If Thou be the Son of God.
Likewise, the priests and Levites wanted to confuse John by asking:
    - Who art thou?
    - Art thou Elias?
    - Art thou that prophet?
John was clear on who he was not and on who he was.
    What about you?
What character do you assume to thyself?

It is possible for a person to be born again, Spirit-filled, sanctified, and could be a pastor or teacher or evangelist, without knowing who he or she is.
Until you discover who you are, you cannot give yourself unselfishly to another person. Time for self-discovery.
Now is the time to discover who you are and why God brought you to the world.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, I pray that You would unlock my heart that I might be fully alive to my true identity in You.
Teach me to hear Your voice and not believe the enemy's destructive lies about who I am.
Give me clear revelation to see myself the way You see me in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

    Message
Sometimes fear and anxiety can make you feel so alone, weak, and isolated.
Guilt feelings are another great source of inward turmoil which needs to be conquered.
The good news is: Jesus is saying to you 'Let not your heart be troubled anymore by your guilt, neither let your heart be afraid anymore of the retribution for all your many sins and your failures and disappointments, and rejections'.
For Jesus, the Prince of Peace, have taken away all your guilt, fear and shame and suffering and in exchange, He gives you His peace instead - the peace that passes all understanding, that will keep your heart at peace.
Why do you need to be afraid if you know and understand and believe that the LORD is your refuge, and you make the Most High your dwelling?
Beloveth, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
Relax in the Lord, Humble yourselves, repent of your sins, live a righteous life, cast all your worries on the Lord, trust no man but the Lord.
Whatever circumstances of life you face, you can have a great sense of calmness and confidence in God.

    Prayer
I thank You Lord that I can hope in the future and believe in the good destiny that You have for me.
May the God of hope fill me with all joy and peace as I trust in Him, so that I may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 29:25
25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

    Message
Many people are frozen in fear and refuse to take a step of faith all because they fear what others will say or think about them.
They simply care more about the opinions of others than they care about reaching their dreams.
Do worry about what others think of you?
    Do you compromise your values?
Do you downplay your passions and interests for the approval of others?
Do you have a hard time saying No or frustrated when you say Yes?
Are you afraid of being rejected if you say No?
Do you base your decision making on opinion of people and/or rumours from your environment?

Beloveth, being absorbed with what others think about you is quickest and most effective way to disregard what God thinks about you. You will loose focus, will be heading to the wall and your ability to make good decisions will be affected.
Pleasing God re-creates you into God's image while pleasing man will conforms you into people's image and to this world.
It doesn't matter who you are and how popular you are, there are people who don't like you, therefore basing your self-worth on an imperfect person's perception of you will mess you up.
Get over the fear of the opinions of people and put your trust in the Lord and you shall be safe.
Integrity is more important than popularity and/or pleasing everyone.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, empower me to set boundaries in my life that will keep me from the trap of people-pleasing behavior - courage to say NO when I need to and when I want to.
Whenever fear creeps in, help me to remember that You did not give me a spirit of fear.
Help me to remember that I do not have to fear anyone in my life because they do not have power over me in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Ephesians 4:31-32
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

    Message
Bitterness is defined as anger and disappointment at being treated unfairly.
Yet, bitterness is a very valid emotion that many of us struggle with at various points in our lives.
Beloveth, in life, you are not always destined to meet mature, emotionally aware human beings but to come in contact with wicked, evil thinking, bitter and jealous people.
No matter how good you are, no matter how helpful you are to others, no matter how tenderhearted you are, no matter how righteous you are, you are destined to meet people who will not be happy about you, some will be jealous of your success or position and/or the blessings and favour of God towards you; there will be evil speakers and those who will not be ready to forgive you if you happen to step on their toes.
Not everyone is going to be for you and not everyone is going to like you or your ideas. There will be people who will criticize you and everything that you do while some will become jealous of your dreams, of your success, your breakthrough, your elevation, your marriage, your business etc.
Don't forget that Jesus mandated you to show love to your enemies and those that persecute you, to forgive and bless them.
Do not mind those negative talks, those hatred, rejection, ridicules and conspiracies they show and fabricate.
Get over those people and their opinions and/or what they are thinking, instead keep your eyes on your goal.
Remember that your self-worth is never dependent on what people think or say.
Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Let therefore all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you and set your eyes on the Lord and His promises for you.

    Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, awaken Your Holy Spirit within my heart so that I can move forward with sincerity and with perseverance,
to move from hatred to forgiveness and from anger to peace in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 1 Timothy 4:12
12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

    Message
Beloveth, youths are often looked down on because of attitudes and behaviors that are annoying or seems immature such like disrespect, rebellion, self-absorption, cliquishness, conformity to peer pressure, indifference to serious issues, and a fixation on fun as the only thing that satisfies.
Are you in that category of youth or an adult with the characteristics associated to youths?
Therefore you must choose to be different from those conformed to this world, laying aside falsehood but speaking the truth, each one of you, with his neighbour; letting no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment.
Your good conduct will make criticism baseless and will help save others.
Like Daniel, when those with authority over you propose that you compromise your faith, submit only to God's authority.
Do not be discouraged, or submit to doubt and inferiority complex - stop allowing anyone to push you around.
King Saul doubted David's ability to face Goliath yet he hold on to his faith in the Lord, he pushed ahead.
Goliath despised David's youth when he stood before him on the battle field, he set his focus on the power of the Lord.
Joseph's brothers hated and sold him into slavery due to his wisdom and vision, he did not allow anyone to despise his dreams.
You do not have to be old, or retired to have strong character and conviction.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant me the ability and strong mindset to guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in me, the treasures which You have entrusted to me and let me be an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith and in purity in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Acts 16:6+9
6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia
9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

    Message
Sometimes our disappointments in life can become God's appointments, so don't let closed doors bother you.
The things we think of as failures and problems can often end up being blessings in disguise.
Paul was on mission for God and the doors kept shutting in his face. But he didn't go back, and he didn't camp out, without complaint or murmuring he kept moving ahead.
Beloveth, you are not just placed on this planet to stumble around in the dark trying to find out what you should do, God has a plan and a pathway for you.
Don't think about those disappointments and/or failures instead think of a brighter, marvelous and successful tomorrow the days and years ahead.
After many setbacks, a vision appeared to Paul in the night - Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
It is not over until God says it is over and He will not say it is over until you have fulfill that which He created you to achieve on this planet. Wait on the Lord.
When one door closes, another opens; do not look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door so that you do not see the one which has opened for you.
Thank your Lord and praise His name because your time of celebration has come.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, I give to You every area of my heart, my questions, my disappointments, my doubts and fears.
I choose to trade my sorrow for Your joy and to press past my mountains so that I can embrace the promises You have in store for me in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 1 Corinthians 16:9
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

    Message
Beloveth, when a door closes, quit standing there looking at it.
Quit the ifs, the had I know, could have, quit trying to figure out all the reasons of why it didn't happen or the why the door closed shortly before you enter.
You are in a good position to turn around and start looking for the next opportunity that is coming your way.
Keep your head up and your emotions in check.
Yes! keep moving ahead, keep dreaming, keep taking risks, keep focusing on the opportunities ahead, keep trusting God.
    Every disappointment is a blessing.
Whatever you do, don't stop, quickly move on and expect that something good is in store for you because a closed door can lead to a great opportunity remembering that all things work together for good.
When God shuts one door, He opens another.
God has opened a great door and effectual door in your life that no man can shut.
Arise, and walk through the door, into the supernatural where God will give you rest, peace, strength, favour and push back the enemy in your life.
Don't give room for the devil to steal, kill, or destroy you.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, I pray You release warring angels to fight for me continually and open every door of opportunities that enemies have shut,to open every door closed through my ignorance, disobedience and/or pride, and to release what belongs to me in the mighty name of Jesus.
Thank you Lord, that Your favour towards me has no end and for great door and effectual You have opened.
