4th Week, April 2021
30th - 22nd April

    Friday, 30th April 2021

    Bible verse: Proverbs 3:3-4
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

    message
Mercy is that gentle, forgiving, gracious, and overlooking trait of noble men, who gladly take personal injury rather than fight or hurt someone in their power.
Mercy does not tolerate unjustified anger, envy, hatred, malice, railing, whispering, and similar sins.
Truth is the stubborn commitment to whatever is honest and right, regardless of cost.

Beloveth, how can you win favour and a good name in the sight of God and man?
Two things you must have to enjoy favour and a good reputation among men and with God are mercy and truth.

Those geared toward kindness are very merciful people, a perfect shoulder to cry on and they will always join with you in feeling your pain.
But when they are geared toward kindness at all times, they will find it very difficult to share tough truths with people who really need to hear them.

Those who are geared toward truth are people of integrity and honour but sometimes lack the ability to speak the truth in love and with kindness.
Jesus had the ability to speak the truth in incredibly difficult situations and the truth with kindness as he demonstrated in the case of the woman caught in adultery.
Both kindness and truth are a perfect team, let love and faithfulness never leave you.

Beloveth, another precious month is knocking the door, you are to perfectly demonstrate kindness and truth, bind both mercy and truth about thy neck throughout the coming month; write them upon the table of thine heart and you will know God's favour.

    Prayer
Father God, thank you that you generously lavished me with your love and mercy.
Empower me to freely pass on that love and kindness to others and be able to speak the truth with kindness in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Psalm 106:16
They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.

    Message
For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
Envy leads to problems and can lead one to murder.

Those who raged against Moses did not begin their lives in such danger - was set in a basket and floated down the Nile, and they were envious of his position and relationship with God.
Many who do not know how you suffer to get to your present position, blessings and favour of God will surely be envious of you.

Are you so quick to resent the privileges and power given to those in leadership?
Are you envious when somebody else receives a blessing?
Do you become depressed when that other woman gets married, or has a baby, or your co-worker gets promoted, or someone gets a new car, or that other family moves into a beautiful new home?

Beloveth, you might live a righteous life and be more than holy but you will miss heaven because of envy and jealousy.
God promises His people that if they truly repent, He will forgive their sins and restore their fellowship.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, give me wisdom and understanding, so that by my actions and attitude, I may walk in Your ways and always be pleasing to You in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Psalms 112:1-3
1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

    Message
Praising the Lord is reverencing the power and the might of the Lord and you must come before the One who has all authority with joyous expressions.
The man who reverences the power and authority of the Lord has a strong sincere attraction to submitting his/her will to do what the Lord commands.
A blessed man is one who reverences the power and might of the Lord, unequivocally trust in the Lord and enjoys favourable circumstances.
The man who fears the Lord is one who views God's divine will as a verbal directive from a superior that must be obeyed.
He will be firmly established in his faith, be lifted up, with no fear of what man might do to him and his righteousness remains immovable and unshakable for all times whether pass, present or future.

Do you wish to create a stable and progressive legacy, your generations be blessed and experience large quantity of goods, riches in your house?
Come therefore before the One who has all authority with joyous expressions, and appreciation.

    Prayer
I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
I thank you Father for all You have done for me and yet to do.

    Bible verse: Genesis 26:16
And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier than we.

    Message
God blessed Isaac, and prospered him, and made all that he had to thrive under his hands and they envied him.
Abimelech compared the blessings and favour of God on the life of Isaac and the result was envy and jealousy.

Envy means discontented longing for someone else's advantages.
Jealousy is a sign of insecurity - a negative emotion stemming from both desire and insecurity, but not love.

Beloveth, comparing yourself to another breeds envy and jealousy.
Envy is marked by covetousness while jealousy is marked by possessiveness.
Envy makes you resentful and jealousy makes you territorial.
    Jealousy is unchecked envy.
Jealousy is the mother of gossip and slander.
Therefore be careful of those stuck in a loveless, unsatisfying, and unfulfilling intimate relationship.
Be careful of those who forced fake smile pasted on their face just for the sake of keeping up appearances.
Be careful of those who make you a celebrity the more they talk about you at your back.

Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers out of envy.
Envy is why the religious leaders murdered Jesus.
Jephthah was sent out of his father's house without inheritance by his brothers out of envy.
Aaron and Miriam were jealous of Moses because of his position and relationship with God.

No matter what you have, who you are and what you possess or trying to satisfy your environment some people are going to be jealous and envious of you.
Protect your heart against emotions such as envy and pray against deep insecurity and self-esteem issues.

    Prayer
Dear everlasting Father, have mercy and forgive me of any circumstances that will provoke your wrath against me.
I prays oh Lord, that Your word and the Holy Spirit be controlling my thoughts, guarding my heart from selfishness, jealousy and envy while desiring holiness in all aspects of life in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Nehemiah 6:8
Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.

    Message
If you want to finish your course and accomplish your purpose for your live, you must learn how to resist Satans schemes.
Satans aim is to destroy you through subtle deception and plausible sounding appeals.
He will manipulate your carnal senses to dance to the music of the world, to embrace temptations and see only the goodness of the world.

Do not think that when you have overcome one temptation and trial you are done.
No! the enemy has not given up and is not willing to give up.

Nehemiah had to stand up to the violent threats of the enemy, had to deal with internal conflict between the wealthy and poor Jews.
He resisted Satans intrigues by standing firm in his priorities with the truth and with prayer.

Beloveth, people will not quit criticizing, tearing down and being an obstacle.
All you need is to, like Nehemiah, resisted Satans intrigues by standing firm in in your priorities and principles.
Put on the full armour of God and close your ears and eyes on worldly treasures or wasting your precious time on those gossipers and those slanderous false rumours.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant me the wisdom to know what I must do, the will to want to do it, the courage to undertake it, the perseverance to continue to do it, and the strength to complete it in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 24:28-29
28 Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.
29 Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.

    Message
when any kind of bitterness of thought of revenge comes into our minds do not avenge yourself.
We are in the world that lacks decency, lack honesty, coupled with hearts full of envy, jealousy and hatred.
Children of God comprise the truth, while honesty and truth between neighbours are in most cases desirable.

Remember the golden rule "love and kindness" as well as "hatred and revenge".
The latter is the devil's rule - "Do unto others as they have done unto you."
Beloveth, you are to show forgiveness and kindness, leaving vengeance in God's hands, and exalted the power of returning good for evil to your personal adversaries.

What bitterness, grudge, or revenge can you cancel today?
If you forgive others, God will forgive you, therefore use every opportunity to show forth grace and mercy.

    Prayer
Onmipotent God, forgive me for any malice and hatred in my heart.
Broaden my perspective, my humility, and my meekness.
Give me patience, faith, and courage to wait on You in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Haggai 2:8-9
8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

    Message
Beloveth, gold and silver belong to the Lord. You like it or not, your soul belongs to God and He can request for it anytime.
All you have were provided by God.
The absolute dominion of the riches and splendour of the world belongs unto the Lord, who has all these things in His power to dispose of as He pleases and to withhold as He deems necessary.

When the Lord withholds any glory or splendour from His people and work, it is for their advantage and flows from a purpose to give what is better so that their latter house shall be greater than of their former.

Beloveth, the ability, strength and soul to use those things God has given unto you is not by your own power or knowledge or understanding but by the mercy of the Lord.
Have you been grateful or show appreciation of them?

It was not your riches that woke you up this morning neither can your riches guarantee your witnessing another breaking of the day.

Humble yourself, come closer to God, obey His principles and He will pour enough silver and gold upon your household.

    Prayer
Dear gracious Father, I really need the strength and peace that only You can give.
I thank and praise Your Holy Name for Your promise to provide a temple in the future whose glory will be superior to my present temple.

    Bible verse: Psalm 120:6-7
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

    Message
No matter how deep and well-founded your peace is, there are duplicitous people who might unravel it.
You cannot trust man for peace because their hearts are desperately wicked.

Beloveth, what do you do when you become victims of slanderous gossip, when someone lies about you or when those whom you trust betray you?
No matter what your problem is, no matter which circumstances, no matter what the environment is saying about you, trust in the Lord, hope in Him by yielding yourself completely to His word and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
A life of absolute trust and obedience is what provokes the peace of God in our lives.

Yes!, every day we must decide how to handle the deception around us and choose whether we will allow ourselves to be motivated by fear.
But one thing is sure, those seeking your disgrace or your shame or are after your soul, those workers of iniquity will be completely scattered by God's power and you will be clothed with the perfect peace of God.

King Saul hated David and was after his soul even though David was for peace guess what, God granted David victory.
Beloveth, God's given peace leads to godly victory, favour and blessings.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, let Your angels of peace go ahead of me when I go out and stay by my side when I return in Jesus name.
Whenever I am stressed, anxious, or afraid, help me remember to run to You.
Bring a peace into my soul that passes all worldly understanding and make me a light for others to see Your strength in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 21:31
The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD

    Message
The LORD expects you to use reasonable means to protect yourself, but He will do the rest.
God also wants you to obey Him regardless of whether of not victory seems likely.
Cast your worries upon Him, and go to sleep peacefully and safely.

Beloveth, God will deliver those who put their trust in Him, even if they approach a mighty giant with only a sling and a smooth stone, even if an army were to encircle them.

Know that God works in you to give you fruit that is both seen in qualitative and quantitative measures. Therefore put your trust in the Lord, and minimize your confidence in natural means as far as you can.
God's security is better than protecting yourself with a security system or night watch.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant me the wisdom to know what I must do, the will to want to do it, the courage to undertake it, the perseverance to continue to do it, and the strength to complete it in Jesus name.
