    Bible verse: Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

    Message
Faith is taking that first step not because you think you can do it but because you know you cannot and therefore trust the only one who can - God.
Faith does the impossible because it lets God undertake for us.

Faith is not talking about the giants or the obstructing mountains or analyzing the giant but confronting the giant in the name of the Lord.

No one except God can move mountains, but it is your faith, your praises and your prayers that move God, who will consequently move every mountain standing before you.
You can be assured that God will lead you on to victory if you walk by faith.
Nothing is impossible for God and according to your faith will it be done unto you.

    Prayer
Loving God, there are times when the burdens I carry and the disappointments that come my way seem too much to bear. Help me to cast all my burdens on You, have the faith that You have taken them from me and to let You be my full sufficiency.
Help me to trust You with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 1 Samuel 17:26
And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

        ●   have you ever asked your fellow brothers, those who have received double or triple blessings in the midst of tribulations what shall be done to qualify?
        ●   Have you witnessed people testifying unto God of His great doings and asked what shall be done to qualify?
        ●   have you checked the promises of God for you and ask what shall be done to receive these promises?
        ●   have you requested of the Lord what shall be done unto him that keeps His laws and live a righteous life?
        ●   Have you asked yourself what shall be done unto you if you possess a hardened and unforgiving heart?
        ●   Do you request of the Lord "what shall be the reward if you have the courage and confidence to speak bold words in the midst of adversaries or when you prefer playing it safe?
        ●   Have you searched the Scriptures to find out "What shall be done to you for trusting the Lord, obeying His laws, love those who hates you and walking in righteousness?"
        ●   Do you care of been spoken ill of, and/or opposed by those from whom you expect support and assistance?
        ●   Do you ask "what shall be the reward if you allow the environment, family pressures, disappointments or the circumstances facing you to divert your focus from God's plan for your promotion and success?

David didn't submit to his brother's attempt to silence him, neither did he because of his age, submit to the discouragement of king Saul.

During the 8 years presidency of Bill Clinton, his wife, Hillary, faced a lot of challenges yet she didn't submit to pressure nor throw the towel.
Her focus was "What shall be the reward to the one that in times of trials and tribulation remain loyal to husband/wife and makes God the only hope and confidence?"
Beloved, though it tarry the reward shall surely come to past.
Today Hillary Clinton is the first woman presidential candidate in USA.

    Prayer
Thank You Lord, that Your promises are sure and that Your grace is sufficient for all my needs.
Thank You Father, for You are my confidence and my blessed assurance; Your mercies are new every morning because You are a faithful God.

I will not be terrified or discouraged, for the Lord my God will be with me wherever I go and whatsoever I lay my hands on in Jesus mighty name.

    Bible verse: 1 Samuel 17:32
And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

    Message
What is the big Philistine standing before you - your finances, work, relationship, progress, faith in the Lord, overcoming unguarded mouth, arrogance, pride, gossiping or evil speaking?
How are you looking at the giants? Like David or like Joshua & Caleb or like the rest spies that see themselves as grasshoppers? Do you see them as bigger that what God can handle?

Brethren, to explore and conquer the giants in your life, you need a spiritual perspective, an unshakable shoe leather faith, and like David a deliberate focus on God's glory and trust in His power.
A shoe leather faith is faith rooted in personal experience, always active and aggressive, goes out after giants and takes it on, more concerned about defending the glory of God.

When the lion or bear or giant comes into your life or cross your way, instead of tolerating it, recognize that you can't allow it to have its way in your life. Built on past experiences where God watched over you, trust in the true and living God and face it squarely in the name of the Lord.
Do not attributed any victory thereof to good luck or your know-how but to the glory of God. It is the Lord's doing.

    Prayer
Dear everlasting Father, I choose to have faith in Your ability to break through every obstacle in my life, to take the head off of giants standing in the way of something good and/or those sitting on my back.

I want to be like Joshua and Caleb who believed in a good reports and with boldness focused on You even in hard circumstances.
Teach me, oh Lord, to see difficulties in my life from Your perspective, to focus on You and Your power and to trust in Your ability and not my own.

    Bible verse: 1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

    Message
You cannot have a strong desire for God and fleshly appetites at the same time.
The fact that you cannot be profoundly influenced by that which you do not know, therefore you should be filled with the word by regularly reading the Scriptures, meditating on the word and be obedient to God's laws.
If you are filled with God's Word, your life can then be transformed and directed by God.

The love of the world is the love of the spiritual junk foods of this world which have no lasting value but provide the fastest and easiest journey to eternal hell.
This includes the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, deceitful and unforgiving heart, forsake of godliness, unguarded mouth, evil speaking with nothing motivating proceeding out of the mouth, hatred and willingness to destroy and/or kill others with our tongues or other devilish means.

You cannot serve two masters at the same time; stay away from the junk food of the world.

    Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, empower me to stay away from anything and/or anyone who might take Your place in my heart.

Do not let me have the opportunity to be conformed to this world rather let me continue to see sin through Your eyes and acknowledge it as evil in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Isaiah 55:1
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

    Message
Thirst is defined as the established order of nature, and an original law in the constitution of the mind.
It is one of the driving and propelling power of the mind empowering us to either thirst for things of this world or things of God.

    Are you thirsty?
The LORD invites you to take advantage of all His blessings and to seek His gracious covenant of life.

Brethren, when the flesh is worn and weary, and the spirit is depressed, and temptations sweep upon it, like a storm on ocean's breast, when sorrow comes upon you that no other soul can or ready to share, when the burden seems too heavy for the human heart to bear, when the finances are in shamble and the relationship in the curse of collapse, thirst for the one whose grace can comfort, one who is ready to carry your burden if you'll trust Him with your load.

Yes! We are to feed upon the Lord, by faith, drink of His fountain, thirst for His protection, His provisions, His presence, His treasures and His great possibilities.

    Prayer
Oh Lord I thirst to drink day by day of Your living springs and I pray that You by Your Holy Spirit fill me, flow through me and prepare me to enjoying the blessings promised in thirsting for You in Jesus name.

Father Lord, make me to hunger and thirst for righteousness in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: John 7:37
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

    Message
Children of God can be thirsty for riches, for fame, success, peace, attention, prosperity, love, fulfillment or be spiritually thirsty.
When you are physically thirsty, your body needs liquid to quench the thirst, not just any non-water containing liquid.
But where are you searching for satisfaction when your soul is thirsty?
What is it that you thirst for?
Is it for your own benefit or for the kingdom of God?
What can make you thirst for God's presence?

Jesus offers satisfaction for our thirst and He promises to satisfy the thirst of everyone who comes to him no matter who, no matter from what background, no matter what lifestyle they have previously lived.
God will give them, in their weakness, His strength so that they can overcome every thirst and hindrances.

You need to only seek out a good relationship with God, be obedient to His laws and desiring the gifts or the power of the Holy Spirit.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant that I will long for You more than any other gift, find satisfaction in You more than any other gift, trust in You more than anything and anyone else and that I will praise You in the assembly of the saints for Your lovingkindness.

Whenever I am thirsty let me possess the hope, courage and strength to seek You Lord, and let my soul be filled with the living water in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

    Message
The peace of God is the peace that assures us that God is in control of the details of our lives. And this peace surpasses all understanding.
Lack of peace in our own hearts leads anger, hatred, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk.

A thankful heart is a heart where Christ's peace is in control and gratitude means that we can see God's grace in all things concerning us.

Brethren, we should put on selfless love on the inside, and on the outside seek to live lives of thankful blessing.
A prevailing thankfulness even in the midst of life's challenges.
We should allow the gratitude in our hearts overflow as we worship Christ with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.

Do you lack peace in your thoughts, emotions, words, and actions? Seek the peace of God.

    Prayer
Holy Spirit, do not let me be occupied with myself in pride and stubbornness.
Free my heart from selfish ambitions, worldly passions and the determination to have my own way.
Create in me a pure heart, O Lord and coat me with the garments of gratitude in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Psalm 84:1-2
1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

    Message
The pleasure of enjoying God Himself and His abundant goodness, His love, mercy and compassion should fuel our desire to be hungry for the living God.
When your soul longeth for God, you:
        ●   walk uprightly to live before Him with boldness and integrity
        ●   seek to please God by obeying His commandments.
        ●   put your trust in His grace and strength to overcome sin.
        ●   confess your sins, forgive those that trespass against you and show love to them.

It should be every believer's desire to seek God, know Him, His ways, His plans, His will for us and to have an intimacy with Him through worship, praises, prayers, meditations and showing of love and kindness.

Beloved, blessed are they that dwell in His house for in God's presence is fullness of joy, in His right hand there are pleasures forever.
Without minding your sorrow or whichever Goliath is facing you, open your mouth and sing praises to the Lord.

    Prayer
Oh precious God, because my soul longeth for You and my heart and my flesh crieth out for You and I put all my hope and trust in You let me by divine directives locate unprecedented treasures from above in Jesus name.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

    Bible verse: Psalm 30:11
    Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

    Message
Brethren, what a delight to be rid of the habiliments of woe and to the clothed with the royal vestment from above.
God can move you from the pits of despair and from the mire of sin and set you up to stand as firm as a mountain in the Lord.
It does not matter what situation you find yourself in, God has the power to change your life when you surrender your life to Him.

Yes! like Joseph, we must be willing to trust God to take us to a higher ground, above the pains and anguish that we may endure in this life. We must possess a kind and forgiving heart, be loyal, obedient and committed in our duties.

Don't forget that God put off the sackcloth of Mordecai and girded him with favour, glory and fame because of his loyalty, faithfulness and obedience to the king. He was covered with joy and gladness.

Because of Haman's evil desires, self-centeredness, misuse of his carnal mind and his delight in the downfall of others his power and influence was cut off.

We are to devote our hearts and souls to seeking the Lord our God, develop intimacy with Him and always be grateful for His love, kindness and mercies.

    Prayer
By a sense of full forgiveness and present justification our merciful God has enriched my spiritual nature, filled me with all the fullness of Him and have placed me where I am today.
For this and the precious life You granted me I am very grateful.

Let me seek You oh Lord in my desire and let me desire You in my seeking.
Fill me completely with Your love and gird me with gladness, favour and unmerited blessings while directing my path in righteousness in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

    Message
God invites us to seek him in whichever situation we found ourselves and do so sincerely with all our hearts.
In the midst of difficult situations God wants us to know He has a plan for us. He desires an intimate relationship with us.

Yes, it is true that God cares about every intricate detail in our lives.
He wants us to walk in expectancy, be obedient to His word and let nothing move us from His presence and love.

God is giving us hope by promising that we shall find Him and He shall answer us provided we search for Him with all our heart.

Brethren, when things don't go your way don't start questioning God.
    Stop asking why. Stop complaining.
Eradicate your feeling that God no longer loves you or cares about you.
God knows your needs, your fears, your hopes, your dreams. His eye is upon you and His love surrounds you.
The blind BartimC&us persistently sought Christ with all his heart despite the challenges and discouragements he faced.

God had plans for His people but He also wanted them to call out to Him in prayer.

    Prayer
Oh precious Father, help me to seek Your face with all my heart and to look to You for strength, to walk where I need to walk in Jesus name.
Teach me to look to Your face first, to always seek You and never to be preoccupied with my own urgencies and with seeking solutions and remedies on my own.
