4th Week, December 2020
31st - 22nd December

    Thursday, 31st December 2020

    Bible verse: Isaiah 40:28
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

    Message
In Which God Do We Trust?
Do you know that God is our eternal Provider, Who never gets weary and WHO bears us up on His arms of love?
Yes! He is our all-powerful, omniscient God Whose ways are unsearchable and yet He even sees the little sparrow that falls to the ground and clothes the wild lilies that are watered by His abundant rives of life.

Brethren, we have a lasting, a loving, a caring, a leading and a listening God who fainteth not and never goes weary.
He is always there for us for the fulfilment of our desires and expectation and in every situation. And He has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches.
In Him is everlasting strength, eternal power and never-ending might who has kept you and I from January till last day of this year with His mercy. He watched over you, prevented covid-19 from coming near you and your loved ones and when you are overworked and exhausted, hope in the Lord gives you fresh energy.

Beloveth, the coming year is a year of hope, favour uplifting, fulfilment and fulfilment of desires.

    Prayer
Thank You Lord, for Your guidance, provision, mercy and protection throughout this year.
Fill me, Oh God of hope, with all joy and peace in believing, that I may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name..
Those laughing at me today will soon laugh with me and regret their folly of looking down on me in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Philippians 1:20
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

    Message
Beloveth, as the year is going to an end what are your expectations?
Yes! favour, prosperity and breakthrough are among them.
Did you include the ability to be a blessing to others?
And to serve the Lord with all your heart and soul, be obedient to His word?
To learn how to give and to appreciate?
Then you are ready for the new year with praises in your mouth and surely God will guarantee you that in nothing shall you be put to shame.

    Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, as my hope and trust is in You I ask in the mighty name of Jesus, that Your wrath be upon whatsoever and whosoever that seek or plan to put me to shame.

    Tuesday, 29th December 2020

    Bible verse: Proverbs 25:8
Go not forth hastily to strive, lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.

    Message
Go not forth hastily indicates a wilful, purposeful intent to engage in conflict as quickly and as forcefully as possible.
Many allow their self-will and words said in haste to drive them over the proverbial cliff.
Failing to count the cost of your words and actions, might cause you to fall on your own sword, sharpened by an angry tongue and bitter spirit.
Slow down! Haste makes waste and haste can put you to shame. Therefore do not react hastily and do not rush to action.
Calm down; sit down; slow down.
A wise man takes the time to look at every angle and consider every argument before beginning to argue a case or making decisions.

Beloveth, your thoughtlessness, your lack of discernment and understanding, your ungraciousness, and your display of unspiritual attitude and behaviour or threatening and giving ultimatums when you fail to have your way, and your own foolish hastiness will bring you to a shameful testimony.
Watch out and in all aspects of life go not forth hastily in making decisions.
Prepare your heart for the new year avoiding doing things hastily, in a thoughtless and an overbearing manner, without spiritual discretion and without spiritual grace.

    Prayer
God our Father grant me the ability and humility to manage strives and to proceed with wisdom and caution.
Endow me with the required mental and professional skill to demonstrate competence and integrity in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Psalm 9:10
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

    Message
Sometimes it's hard to understand why God doesn't allow things to happen straight away or why some of our requests are been delayed or cancelled.
God has promised to give you the desires of your heart, but it may take a while for those desires to come to fruition.

If you delight yourself in God he will delight in you and He will give you what you want.
But He wants you to seek Him and to love Him and spend time with Him in prayer and Bible study.
Beloved, commit your hopes and dreams to God surely He will answer you even at the last minutes of the year.

    Prayer
Dear everlasting Lord, You are my confidence and my blessed assurance.
You are the rock of my salvation and the strength of my life. My hope rests in You for You are my faithful Shepherd and the song that rejoices my heart.

    Bible verse: Colossians 1:12-13
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

    Message
The saints, my beloveth, are in eternal light, where no sickness blasts, no death devours, no injustice grinds, and where no depression abates spiritual enjoyments, and no temptation clouds the sun of heavenly manifestations.
however fruitless our efforts may seem, we never know what life-giving action is happening underground that will make us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Are you thankful to the Lord for whatever you are going through and/or experiencing?
Do you know what God is directing His angels to undertake on your behalf, the dangers He is pushing off your head and the blessings He is programming for the days ahead?
Are you trusting God wholeheartedly and believe that He can provide your needs and deliver you from troubles?

Beloveth, let us give thanks to the Lord, praise His Holy name for His mercies and making us partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, protecting us from covid-19, for delivering us from every danger and keeping us alive to witness the another Christmas and guiding our steps to enter another year with hope and deliverance from the power of the darkness.

    Prayer
Lord, I thank and praise you for all that You give me and also for the many things You don't give me - things which might become a distraction to my faith and trust in You.
Thank You, God, for all that You have allowed and not allowed in my life this past years, months and days.
Thank You Lord, for the peace and joy and righteousness that are gifts to me from Your Spirit at work in my heart.

    Bible verse: Isaiah 55:12
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

    Message
What is being promised here are joy, peace, protection, favour, unmerited blessings and victories.
All sorrow, all Goliath and obstructing mountains standing before you, all enemies of progress will be overcome and banished and you shall be released from your bondage and ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace.

What is it that you have been longing and praying for since the beginning of this decade and is yet to be materialised?
As the new year is approaching, God is telling you that ye shall go out with joy.
Yes! God is planning that you will be happy and there will be peace.
He is planning that good and beautiful things in His creation be preserved for your exhilaration. And ye shall be released from the place and state of your bondage and there shall be a great and general rejoicing at your deliverance and breakthrough so that even the senseless creatures shall seem to rejoice with you and for you.

Your success and elevation shall attract all the trees of the field and they shal rejoice with you clapping their hands.

    Prayer
Equip me, Lord, with spiritual, moral and intellectual virtues required to rise and excel in a higher office of responsibility and to be ale to go out with joy and be led forth with peace in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Matthew 2:1-2
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

    Message
Beloveth, glory be unto God for making us to be among the living witnessing this precious day of the Lord.
You have celebrated or celebrating the birth of the only son of God with praises, thanksgiving, with repentance and merriment, with blessing others with your substances and/or interceding for others.
You have, unlike Herod, used your power to serve people instead of using people to protect your power.

Yes! you have vowed to fulfil your promises like the wise men who travelled from the far east to Bethlehem.
The angels are asking, what are your expectations and your vision, for, the Lord have proclaimed success, stability, power integrity upon your life and your star have been seen in the east.

God hath promise that His goodness shall be your portion and you shall fulfil your destiny.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

    Prayer
Thank you, dear everlasting Father, for giving me the opportunity of relationship with Your son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who introduces me to an eternal Father that always provide what I need and not what I want.

    Bible verse: Psalm 9:1
I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

    Message
A thankful spirit is a distinguishing feature of a Christian.
Therefore, in the pleasantries of life, as well as in the pain, during difficult times, trying times and frustrating times we are to give thanks.
God has seen us through our life time, has been good to us, has kept us and protected us.
We owe Him praises with our whole heart.
Yes we are to testify of His goodness and making us a living testimony for this great and special day.

    Prayer
Thank you, dearest Lord, for holding me tight in your embrace, for making me stronger than the challenges in my life for making the mountains and the hills break forth before me into singing and for your protections, my sins are forgiven, and I am blessed.
With you, there's nothing to fear and nothing to worry about.

    Bible verse: Psalm 31:21
Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

    Message
The city is what surrounds you, your life. It is a strong city because of God's love.
Beloveth, instead of yielding to impatience or despondency under your troubles, you should turn your thoughts to the goodness of the Lord.
There are atrocities taking place everywhere all the time - murder, injustice, abuse, covid-19, oppression, exploitation, greed, cruelty, tyranny, starvation, are just some of the evil that permeates our world.
Instead of murmuring, complaining and shifting blames, create time to extol our God for His goodness and mercy.
God hath shewed His marvellous kindness to you and your loved one.
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

    Prayer
dear Lord, I choose to make Your presence the central theme of my life as You help me to be content with the gifts You have given me, and the life You made for me.
Teach me, Lord, to align myself with Your greatness, and give me a new way of looking at life in Jesus name.

    Tuesday, 22nd December 2020

    Bible verse: Proverbs 16:20
He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.

    Message
Do you trust the blessed God of heaven for success, peace and happiness?
And how do you handle life's challenges and dilemmas?
    Is it:
    - by pragmatic analysis and wisely considerations? or
    - by scriptural understanding, with faith, wisdom and trust in the Lord? or
    - by peer pressure from your environment or by people's opinion and/or hearsay? or
    - by looking out for yourself in this world using any means to achieve your goal? or
    - by lazily relying on miracles, wasting your time in churches binding the devil and crying Holy Ghost Fire for manna from above?

Beloveth, if instead of trusting God and allow Him to handles issues at His own appointed time you make decisions or tackle challenges with your selfish motives you are bound to fail and you should be ready for the consequences.
God expects you to handle matters with wisdom and to put your trust in Him doing all you can do and allow Him to do what you cannot.

It is not the hours you spend in the church, or how loud you can pray or how many days you can fast but your honestly, obedience, diligently and honestly seeking the Lord, doing that work faithfully and with devotion.
And if you are yet to be blessed with a job, then diligently searching for one with hope in the Lord. And God will direct your step and send a destiny helper.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, help me to know that he who hopes for nothing but You, hopes truly and places all his happiness in holiness.
