Bible verse: Job 5:19 contd.
He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

Message
God has made some wonderful promises to His people.
One of the greatest of these is that we may have a long life, not only a long life, but that our life will be lived in peace.
He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
God has promised that you will receive deliverance from:
1. famine
2. the power of the sword
3. the scourge of the tongue
4. destruction
5. shamed in the evil time.
6. the beasts of the earth
and in the seven, you will recive deliverance from all evil and protection from the wicked ones.

You have God's promises. All you need to do is to walk in them.
Yes! in any succession of troubles, however numerous, God is able to deliver and He will when thou seekest Him by prayer and repentance.


Prayer
Thank You Lord for Your guidance and protection.
Thank You for At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth."
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied

Message
When a person sees someone going through a time of testing, they believe they are being punished because there is sin in their life.
But it is to get their attention, so they will make the needed changes, so they can receive a blessing.
Adversities brought on by the adversary will drive you to your knees to repent, and to seek God's voice.
God used satan as a tool to bring Job into a place where he would hear.

You should be happy when God loves you enough to take time to correct and chasten you.
You may suffer pain, but you can be assured His hands will make you whole.
When you fear God, or hold Him in reverential awe, it will prolong your days.

Prayer
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Message
It is evident that we shall be subjected to calamities and troubles.
- the Israelites were encircled with troubles at the Red Sea,
- Daniel was thrown into the lion's den,
- Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were put in the furnace of fire,
- Peter and Silas were imprisoned and had no means of escape.
It doesn't matter how dark the darkness is, how numerous the troubles and your weaknesses are, God is able deliver you.

God shall deliver thee in six troubles provided you are behaving as directed - seeking unto God, committing your cause and case to Him, and leaving it with Him; and not despising the chastening of the Lord, but receiving and bearing it with reverence, patience, and submission.

Beloveth, living a righteous life will guarantee that in seven, there shall no evil touch thee, because the Lord is your refuge.


Prayer
Thank you, Lord, for giving your angels charge over me in all my ways and for setting me free from every curse, weaknesses and troubles.
Guard my heart, Oh Lord, from selfishness, pride, fear, doubt and inspire my mind that I may comprehend Your love for me in Jesus name.

Message
Our objective and motivating factor in the spiritual race should either be the love of things that are seen and temporal or the love of things which are unseen and eternal.

Let us not run with uncertainty and insecurity knowing fully that God will disqualify believers from reward if they live lives of disobedience, unconfessed sin, unresolved purpose and love of earthly things above all.
You are to run the race to win not how fast but how you successfully finish.
Therefore let your focus the on the things above for things gathered on this planet are nothing but vanity.
You will leave them all here.

Prayer
Oh Lord, give me power to take the next steps and grant me the energy and the security to successfully complete the race in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Proverbs 23:31
Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.

Message
Wine is very good and maketh glad the heart of man.
But unguarded or excessive affection for wine is condemned.

God taught men to ferment it for He created it to cheer the heart.
Moses commended it for family worship and Jesus made it for a wedding while faithful ministers defend its moderate use.

Godliness is moderation and temperance in all things, so unguarded or excessive affection for any wine is condemned.
God commends moderate drinking, but condemns drunkenness.
Drunkenness is drinking past reason until your senses no longer rightly recognize good and evil.
Your imagination and speech will be degraded to folly and sin.
Drunkenness is deceiving, it is often only others who can rightly perceive your drunkenness.
Abuse of wine can make a wise man a fool, quickly.

Since wine or strong drink can deceive men into folly, it is their wisdom to drink it very carefully.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I seek Your face for righteousness in my live and I believe that You would banish all forms of alcoholism intake, and unguarded or excessive affection for wine in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Proverbs 24:8 contd.
He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.

Message
Beloveth, there are wicked persons who constantly think in subversive ways to commit sin.
They do not have righteous hearts and they are given over to lasciviousness with greediness.
They are not happy without planning a new crime against others.

But how can they be known?
- By the talk of their lips, which reveals their hearts.
Yes! They generally speak subversively and lightly about sin, make a mock of sin,excuse their evil plans and surmise evil about others.
Their corrupt minds often see malice in the actions of others and have perverse ideas.

When you identify a wicked mind that thinks evil toward others, you should get far away, because that evil heart is likely also conspiring harmful thoughts toward you.

Find instead those precious souls that speak often one to another about the things of God, about how to climb the Ladder, speaking motivating and encouraging words for your success.
Flee from them because they are mischievous, and they are dangerous. Get away from them.

Prayer
Instead of wasting energy on fretting evil, help me use that same energy for loving my neighbours.
Keep me from distractions in Jesus name

He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.

Message
Devising evil is active planning or plotting of sin in the heart and mind. The intentions are malicious.
It is worse than sinning by temptation and weakness.
A mischievous person is dangerous and harmful because his mind is bent on doing evil.

Beloveth, it is one thing to sin, but a different thing to plan sin.
The brothers of Joseph planned to kill him and are therefore mischievous.
Drunkenness caused Lot to sin, but he did not plan to sin.
David committed adultery after seeing Bathsheba naked, but he had not devised to take Uriah's wife that night.

Following a multitude to do evil is sin, but planning to lead others into evil is much worse.
Gossiping, backbiting are devising to do evil.

What do you devise - wickedness, or righteousness?
Are you inventors of evil things or inventors of new ways of tricking and deceiving men, inventor of gossip?
Then you are a mischievous person, a schemer, a very pernicious one, and to be shunned and avoided as such.

Prayer
Father, I depend on You to protect and fight my battles against evil and mischievous persons in Jesus name.

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Message
God's wrath is coming and will be poured out on all the unjust while the righteous will enjoy his grace and mercy.
You may be going through some awful stuff right now and it may seem like all hell is coming against you and your life, know that God is able and is willing to rescue you out of every condition, every temptation and from the hands of the wicked.

All that is requested of you is walking in righteousness, stay focused and trust that with God all things are possible.

Prayer
Thank you Lord for confirming again in our hearts the truth of Your power and love.
Arise, O LORD, in thine anger; lift up thyself against the rage of my adversaries in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Psalms 62:5-6
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

Message
When you are at a very disturbing and discouraging time in your life, facing extreme super storms, when your are surrounded with deceitful tongues, when friends have deserted you and you become the topic of the town; wait upon the Lord.
Those situations are not bigger that our Lord. Let your focus be on the Lord and let him be the rock you stand on.

His timing might not be as you desire but God is never too slow or too late.
Don't be moved because God is your only help, your provider and at the appropriate time, He will surely show up.

Prayer
Oh Lord, I know that nothing can happen apart from your will; increase my love and dependence upon You and my faith to be able to wait quietly and patiently upon you in Jesus name.

Bible verse: Proverbs 20:16 contd
Take his garment that is surety for a stranger: and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.

Message
A surety guarantees the performance of others, like co-signing loans.
Doing this for a stranger, due to haste or pride, can create serious financial trouble.
If the stranger does not perform, creditors can enforce the contract on the guarantor – the fool who co-signed the deal.
Beloveth, do not enter transactions with risk-takers, unless you take security of them.
Men who are not disciplined financially or morally are not good business partners. They should be avoided.
A wise man will not risk his own financial life by trusting a person who takes unnecessary risks with capital or strange women.

Resist all the appeals of others, and the pride and greed existing within, to be a risk-taker or to enter deals with such men.
This scripture is advising you to avoid commitments or relationships with whores or whoremongers.

Jesus Christ is Surety for those the Father gave Him to save.
Yes! they were guilty of every crime imaginable, but He took the full cost and risk of their crimes and souls and paid the complete price for their pardon.
He finished the legal transaction, and His Father accepted all those chosen in Him in eternity.

Prayer
Divine wisdom that cannot be deceived, come into my life now in the name of Jesus.
I receive knowledge and wisdom of wise warning to protect me in dealing with men prone to risk-taking in Jesus name.
