    Bible verse: Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

    Message
In the wilderness and in time of troubles and tribulations, God is always there for you.
He makes way where there is none.
God sends blessings on the just and unjust alike, and He takes the foolish schemes and rebellious actions of men and turns them to His greater glory, in order to fulfil His ultimate plan and purpose.

His time and purpose are not like yours. What He promises to do, He will never fail to do it.
Yes! There is a season for everything, and this is your season of accomplishment, of receiving what the Lord has for you, of unexpected testimonies and flying high like the eagles.

You must create trust and confidence in the Lord and come closer to Him while living righteously.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, let me be confident and be physically and spiritually be at alert to recognise the seasons of those things You have destined for me
Holy Spirit, help me to choose to do things right, and walk upon God's path in faith and understanding.

    Bible verse: Psalm 62:9
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

    Message
Beloveth, the scripture is making us to realize that in this world all is nothing but vanity.
It is not important whether you are rich or poor but what matters to GOD is that you are righteous.
Struggling to having degree, low or high, and/or chasing of certain worldly classes is nothing but vanity.
Your mansion or castle, your vehicles, your iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, your gold and silvers are nothing but vanity and trouble makers after you have been called home.
Your walk on this planet, earth, is numbered and when the time shall come for God to call you back home nothing shall go with you but your soul.

Your most precious degree is your salvation - so you can rejoice with the angels in heaven.
Your hardened heart, pride and pursuing of the earthly treasures will lead to nothing but rejection of God on that day you are to give the account of your performances on earth.
It is never too late to start laying the foundation of your final journey to heaven with love, obedience, commitment and contentment. You cannot satisfy everyone.

    Prayer
Dear merciful Lord, teach me the great gain to setting my heart's affections not on this world's changing and peril-stricken economy, but by storing up treasures in heaven's economy where eternal riches never perish, spoil or fade in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Daniel 6:3
3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

    Message
Excellent is something that excels, exceptional, high quality or superlative.
Excellent spirit is a spirit of self-control, of genuine piety, of unshaken faith in God.
The man of excellent spirit is a distinguishing character, a man of purpose, man of perception, a man of prayer and
a man who has the spirit as dominating factor in his personality.

Living in the midst of a crooked and corrupt world, it is definitely sure that you will face situations when your integrity would be tested, that is when you got to grind your teeth and stay righteous for God.
Submit yourselves, then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Daniel did not permit fleshly indulgence of any sort to rub the bloom from spiritual life, to weaken the nerve of spiritual endeavour, to dim the vision of spiritual outlook.
Likewise, Joseph did not submit to the worldly treasures and lustful will of others.
A man of weak faith and weak will, yields to circumstances, and excuses himself by saying that he could not help it.
You should rule circumstances, and not allow circumstances to rule you.

God always honours faithful service. He may never promote you in the eyes of men, but He sees everything you do for Him. He keeps perfect records, and one day, you will be rewarded accordingly

    Prayer
Father, your word says that if we ask, we shall receive; I ask for the gift of the excellent spirit now and I pray that this promise come to fulfilment in my life in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 1 Peter 3:3-4
    3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

    Message
God gave us the inner desire for beauty, designs and order in nature; a heart that is not easily ruffled by the cares and concerns of life, full of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Yes! the hidden man of the heart has no corruption in it, nor cleaving to it unless you refuse to make it clean and dwellable by the Holy Spirit allowing our carnal desires and worldly affections to take absolute control of it.

Brethren, you can put on all the cream, cosmetics, expensive clothings and golden jewelleries you want to, have face lifts or whatever, but if you lack a meek and a quiet spirit you shall loose self-discipline, self-control, dignity, happiness, joy, fruitfulness and everlasting life.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewellery and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight

Therefore, you must be careful not to adopt the ways of the world, its attitudes, moral code, language and its values such like lust, greed, jealousy, covetousness, anger, arrogance, strife, profanity, selfishness, pride, hatred, nagging, unforgiveness etc.

    Prayer
Oh gracious God, I pray that I live in humility of spirit and meekness of mind, so that I may reap the divine benefits of Your gift of grace, which You have promised to bestow on all who humble themselves before Your holy presence in Jesus name.
Let Your compassion quickly meet my needs I pray in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 15:3-4
3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

    Message
A wholesome tongue is one which does not pierce like a sword, not cutting and offensive.
It is not used to hurt others or to make others feel bad.
Every man with a wholesome tongue provides the fruit of knowledge and wisdom to others by his words.
But a perverse tongue represents corrupt and evil speech that hurts and injures others - the motives are selfish, the content evil, and the effect destructive.

Beloveth, you are either a tree of life to others or a breach in their spirit. You either heal and help with your words, or you hurt and injure them with your tongue.
You can be a tree of life, providing kind and useful words to help others, or you can cause a breach in their spirit, discouraging and hurting them. You either instruct and uplift, or you corrupt and offend.

Beloveth, before you say something to somebody or about anybody, check your goal. Is it helpful in building that person up or does it increase the potential of that person?
Remember that death and life are in the power of the tongue and you will eat the fruit thereof.

Examine what comes out of your tongue.
    - Are your words the helpful words of truth and wisdom?
    - Do you leave hearers bleeding from sarcastic cuts and defeated by negative comments?
    - Are others angry about your regular backbiting and tale-bearing?

    Prayer
I will break loose and escape from perverse tongues inn Jesus name.
Crown me Lord, with the garment of love, trust, peace, hope, joy, confidence and wholesome tongue in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 22:9
He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

    Message
A bountiful eye means a bountiful heart because the heart looks through the eye.
In as much as the heart looks through the eye therefore a bountiful eye could be referred to as a bountiful heart.
He that hath a bountiful eye is he who looks upon the wants and miseries of others with compassion and kindness like Jesus.
An evil eye is put for one that beholds others with envy, hatred and unmercifulness.
We are to imitate the bountiful eye of Christ - one with great heart, compassion, love and always considering the cause of the poor and giving freely, generously, beyond basics and beyond expectations.
Instead of sending the multitudes home with empty stomach he fed them.

Beloveth, generosity guarantees blessings and the merciful heart, even when the hand has little or nothing to give, shall be blessed of the Lord.
Be pure in your heart and easy in your speech and never forget to rejoice over the blessing before you and share with the poor.
Remember, God will send favour on errand and will bless the man who gives who gives eagerly and liberally, which is giving freely, generously, beyond basics, beyond expectations, creatively, and spontaneously.

    We are to avoid:
    - a bountiful tongue - proclaiming one's goodness
    - a bountiful hand - giving all goods to feed the poor and lack charity.
    - a bountiful head - devising schemes of liberality for others and not be truly generous himself.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, I pray you cloth me with the enlightened eye, the bountiful eye and a bountiful heart in Jesus name.
I will give thanks to the Lord because of His righteousness, His mercy and for granting me life, and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD most High.

    Bible verse: Psalms 145:1-9
1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
6 And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

    Message
Beloveth, having the right attitude goes a long way in obtaining the right things while having the wrong attitude will shut down God's blessings over your life.
It is best to live grateful and show appreciation so you will receive more blessings and favour.
He who shows gratitude for a small thing will surely receive bigger ones.
You want favour and a change, cultivate the attitude of thanksgiving and speak of His majesty and wonderous works and your testimonies.
Your life can change in a jiffy of time.
It is written: "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name."

    Prayer
Lord, teach me to offer you a heart of thanksgiving and praise in all my daily experiences of life.Teach me to be joyful always, to pray continually and to give thanks in all my circumstances.
Thank You Lord for Your protection and for not letting me be ashamed and not letting mine enemies triumph over me.

    Bible verse: Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

    Message
Poverty, disease and injury or economic loss are not the greatest dangers for a believer but the devil's tricking and his capability to luring you to his kingdom using his well trained agents to block or hinder a proper relationship between you and God.
He is ready to tempt you away with alternatives, like he did unto Jesus; and he will always try to convince you that faith alone in God isn't enough - that you need something more, or even that you need something else.

Do not allow yourself to be lured into the camp of Satan by his agents or by some form of secret 'spiritual' knowledge that others claimed to possess, or by the dangerous teachings of those false preachers/prophets and/or by observing those ceremonial practices and religious rituals and festivals.

You are warned; therefore be vigilant and beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, I pray for a higher knowledge, a higher revelation and a higher apprehension of Your truth.
Send out thy light and thy truth oh Lord: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles in Jesus name.
May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Genesis 24:43-44
    43 Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw water, and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink;
44 And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master’s son.

    Message
The damsel, like the Shunamite woman, acted in faith, with compassion and sincerity of heart.
Beloveth, performing a humble task for a stranger proved a faithfulness to the small things which led to becoming a bride of a wealthy man who was in a covenant relationship with God—faithfulness in much bigger things and the barren Shunamite woman on the other hand been blessed with a child.

The servant was put in the middle of the ocean to seek a gold fish.
Thrice, the servant, though under the pressure of being productive and successful, did not make urgent and emotional decisions.
First, in the middle of the ocean, he committed his mission unto God's hand asking God to make the right choice and decision for him.
Yes! he believed that human beings are liable to making mistakes, look into things from different angle as God, liable to make rash and wrong decision and could fall victim of the agents of Satan.
Remember Samuel made a rash decision when he was to anoint one of Jesse's son before God stepped in?
Committing all unto God, you cancel every plan of the devil and every agent of Satan coming in sheep's cloth will be unveiled, you will be guided to make right decisions.

Secondly, even though he might be hungry, he considered what is before him, what is proper and what is wise - food or mission. It is written: "When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee."

Thirdly, despite that he had confirmation from God and had explained his business in a singularly artless and pleasing manner, he left the matter in the hands of the family.

Beloveth, how do you confront issues?
Who is your best adviser and counsellor?
Do you go to God in prayers or you just rely on your own intelligence and wisdom?
Do you lay emphasis on the mission before you or you allow the environment, the treasures of this world to dictate and divert you from your course?
Do you make decisions based on your environment, the saying of the town, the advices of friends, families and/or neighbours?
How often do you act based on fear or guilt?

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, let your grace help me to rely on You fully for the glory of Your holy name.
Instruct me and teach me in the way I should go in Jesus name.
