    Bible verse: 1 Chronicles 16:8-9
8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

    Message
Are you better or more righteous than those who haven't the opportunity to wake up this morning or the millions of people fleeing for shelter and food?

You are able to survive the first quater of the year, glory be unto His Holy name.
It is not by your doing but because God is sooo good, sooo kind, sooo merciful and sooo compasionate to you.

Our Lord guided you to walk in the way of righteousness, provides for you shelter, for your good health, your wealth and gives you peace of mind and saves you from many calamities.
Beloveth, you are to give thanks and rejoice in His goodness.
Sing praises, glorify His name, talk of His wondrous work in your life and obtain more joy and gladness through your praises.

In every situation and in whichever challenges give Him thanks.

    Prayer
Thank you Lord for Your loving kindness, care, provision, for keeping me from all evil and harms, for watching over my family and loved ones and making me a living testimony.
Dear Lord, empower me to always keep an attitude of thankfulness thereby showcasing Your goodness and love in my life in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

    Message
Beloveth, God's desire and expectation from us is to live a life of absolute purity and in perfection.
To be obedient to Him, have confidence and trust in Him.
To be tenderhearted, having forgiving heart, forsaking pride, envy, greed and hating covetousness.
We are to be faithful and committed in our services unto Him, have perfect relationship among brethren, within our neighborhood and everywhere we have contact with other human being and live in peace with everyone.

We are to watch what comes out of our mouth, be careful of what we write and be always ready to say sorry whenever we offend others or make mistakes.
Any kind of imperfection in man is an act of disobedience to the word of God.

We are to be less self-centered, be obedient and be honest by walking with people who are honest and righteous.

Yes! We are to be as generous as our Father and therefore we will have to walk with people who are generous and act likewise.

    Prayer
I thank you Lord for Your provision and for Your overwhelming generosity toward me.
Help me oh Lord, to wear the cloak of humility, to walk in perfection and guide me not to be concerned with matters or subjects too difficult for me in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 10:6
Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked

    Message
How you live will determine how you will be rewarded - blessings on your head or violence to shut your mouth or wrath of God. The choice is yours.
God has given us a very real call to live holy lives and He made us to know that there are consequences for sin and for the just.
If we walk before God in integrity of heart and uprightness God will open heavens and pour His blessings upon us.

But if we decide to rely on our own wisdom and prefer to satisfy our carnal senses than walking in holiness we shall like Herod Agrippa, or Ananias and Sapphira, definately end up enjoying the wrath of God.

It is written "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness".

    Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, do not let your anger be kindled against me, for I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

    Bible verse: 2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

    Message
Scripture encourages self-examination. Believers are to examine their lives regularly for the purpose of finding out of the stand of their faith, obedience and Christ-like behaviour.
Are you keeping His commandments, abiding in the word, loving your brethren like Christ loved you?
Are you pleasing God with good work and in your responsibilities?
How easily can you fall into the trap of self-deception, selfish desires, self-centeredness and unforgiveness?

    Prayer
Purify me O Lord, from everything that contaminates body and spirit in Jesus name.
Help me to live my life in a way that it brings good to others, that it will reflect Your mercy and goodness.
I implore You Lord, never to let love and faithfulness depart from me; plant me by the riverside to be bearing fruits - fruit of the Spirit, of good work and of praising God in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: 1 Chronicles 16:8-9
8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

    Message
God is honored when we show genuine gratitude to Him before others.
Yes! we should thank God for His wondrous works, His gracious provisions, His grace and mercy, for the blessings and joys of fellowship with Him, for the air we breathe, His love and forgiveness and especially how He provided for us, kept us, saved us, watched over us and our loved ones, how He dried our tears and lifted us up in difficult and stormy moments.

Beloved, not being thankful will produce ungratefulness; ungratefulness leads to selfishness and selfishness leads to freedom from God to the world.

As for me, I have many reasons to thank and to praise the Lord.
    What about you?

    Prayer
I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
O Lord my God, I will give You thanks forever for how far You have brought me and for the marvelous things you've been doing in my life.
    Thank you Lord.

    Bible verse: Hebrews 9:28
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

    Message
With death of Jesus on the cross Satan was defeated, the key has withdrawn from him and our sins are forgiven.
Yes! Jesus died that we might be cleansed, be pure and that we might lead a victorious life.
The cross of Jesus Christ is the only, but the sure, way of salvation, the hope and the victory over death.

Brethren, Jesus Christ shall appear without sin, the second time to save those who walk in holiness and eagerly await him. And on that day judgment shall come.

Is it your greatest expectation, your greatest desire, to be with Christ at His second coming?
Are you living your life in obedience to Jesus Christ?
Are you looking for the Christ in your own self-centered way or allow your life to be regulated by Him?
How ready are you for judgment if Christ appears now?

    Prayer
Guide me oh Lord, to walk circumspectly so that if You would appear at my side, I wouldn't embarrass You but enjoys a vital union with You.
Grant me Oh Lord, the grace to living my life in obedience to Christ, a hope that will never make me be ashamed and a righteous life preparing me for the second coming of Christ in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 16:15
In the light of the king?s countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.

    Message
God ordained authority by infinite wisdom so any disrespect of it is rebellion against God.
It doesn't matter which authority, who is in control and to who such authority is delegated.

Every person in authority whether you do not like him/her or even extremely hated like the newly sworn in president of America has absolute authority.
A king with great authority has the power to pardon, to promote, to derail or demoralize those under his authority but
a righteous king always properly uses his power to the glory of God who has lifted him/her to that level.

David instead of hatred and misusing his authority shew kindness to Mephibosheth grandson of his enemy, king Saul.

Yes! Our Lord Jesus Christ is the special king whose authority is above any earthly authority. He is the king of kings.

Beloved let your goal and focus be upon the king of kings because blessed are all that put their trust in Him.

    Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, protect my eyes from anything that might dim the luster of a heart and I pray that my desires shall not overtake my thinking process in Jesus name.

Grant me the wisdom and spirit to making choice not to obey the flesh but to let my focus be on Jesus my saviour.

    Bible verse: 1 Samuel 1:17
Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

    Message
Hasty suspicions and rash censures are very sinful and consequently, we should avoid hasty and censorious judgement and/or condemnation of brethren. We are to think before we react because words spoken and/or written can have negative consequences.
And if we find ourselves mistaken in our misapprehension of our brethren, can we, like Eli, be honest to acknowledge this and endeavor to repair the error immediately?

Like Hanna, people will read different meanings to our actions, our words and we shall be unjustly censured.
    - Let us set a double watch before the door of our lips?
    - Let us with respect, humility and without provocation and anger explain the motives of our conduct so as to remove every prejudice?
Note! It is written "Be ye angry and sin not".

Your reactions and handling of challenges, false accusations, unjustified censuring as well as your belief and trust in God will determine the level of the manifestation of that heart's desire and receiving of your anticipated miracles.

    Prayer
Dear Father, set a double watch before the door of my lip, of my mind and of my thoughts so that what proceeds out of my heart shall not be a discouragement to who receives it.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; let the deepest desires of my heart be met, let me go in peace with love and kindness: and the God of Israel grant my petitions.

    Bible verse: Psalm 147:5
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

    Message
There is nothing in this world that is outside the power of God.
He knows all things perfectly and equally well - all thoughts, all mysteries, all feelings, all desires, all secrets, all challenges, every relationship, all things visible and invisible.
No situation, no challenges, no sickness, no heart pain is above the power of the Lord.
Guess what! He is never surprised and never be amazed by anything.
    He is the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-present, all-caring and all-loving God.

Who is He that provides knowledge, wisdom, air, food, wind, light and water to us all?
No one else but our Lord.

Brethren, time to acknowledge and appreciate His love, grace and mercy upon our life.
This last week of October, let us dedicate 30 minutes daily, to praising the Lord for all He has done for us.

    Prayer
O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles in Jesus name

    Bible verse: Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

    Message
Our privilege, responsibility and calling is to do good works.
During his ministry, Jesus was noted for his compassion and good works.
Feeding the hungry, healing the sick, raising the dead, having compassion, saving life, forgiving those who persecuted him, performing miracles and wonders.

We are God's workmanship, created in Jesus Christ to do good works!
Therefore we are to follow the footstep of Christ - doing good works, showing love and having compassion on our brethren.

Yes! we need to walk in obedience and be encouraged to perform the good works with love and confidence.
Do you know that doing good work is putting God's love into action?

    Prayer
Oh Lord, grant me the spirit and ability to do all the good works I can, by all the means I can, in all the ways I can, in all the places I can, at all the times I can, to all the people I can and as long as I can in Jesus name.
