    Bible verse: Proverbs 10:28
The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.

    Message
Expectations are beliefs that spring from a person's thought process and can be reasonable or unreasonable, high or low, good or bad.
The woman with the issue of blood had the expectation and believe that she will be healed by touching the garment of Jesus.
Zacchaeus hoped and expected that he will see Jesus if he climbed the sycomore tree.
Both were not ashamed of their hopes, and were not be disappointed thereafter.

Beloveth, it is the intent behind the expectation that makes it good or evil.
Yes! the issue of your hope will be an abundant entrance into the joy of the Lord.
Joy, peace, prosperity, healing, deliverance and eternal life should be your expectation when you solidly stand on God's Word and operate the principles it teaches.
The expectation of the wicked shall perish; his hope and expectation, either of riches, and honour, and pleasure in this world, or of a long life in it; or of happiness in the other, and of escaping the wrath of God, and the vengeance of eternal fire; shall be frustrated and perish.

Now is the time to repent and be transformed so that your hope shall being peace, joy and blessings.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, grant me the courage to go confidently in the direction of Your aim for me and let me live up to the expectation of what You desired and what You planned to make my life a success to Your glory in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Psalm 84:11
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

    Message
The sun provides hope with each new day just as God gives hope in even the worst situation.
God is our shield, which means that He is our protection and security.
But not only is He our protection, He is also our provision and we can hide behind Him and feel safe.
He knows what is best for us and promises to give us everything we need.

Beloveth, a shield does no good just laying near by. It only protects when picked up and used appropriately.
The same scenario is true of God.
If you don't acknowledge Him, if you don't get to know Him, if you don't truly depend on Him and walk with Him, you won't receive the protection, security, and peace that He freely offers you.

    Prayer
Thank You Lord that You will give me favour, and honour, and shield, and keep nothing good from me.
Grant me the strength and spirit to walk uprightly, seeking You, loving You, allowing You to be my sun and my shield in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Luke 19:4 contd.
And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

    Message
Beloveth, you might be an outcast to your own people and have no standing in society, you might be looked down upon and despised by all or have a life cut down to size, felt small and insignificant, ignored and of little importance, all you need is focus on your goal, act like Zacchaeus.
If you ever felt as if you just weren't up to what life was asking of you - climb up the sycomore tree.
If you you ever experienced being lost and anonymous in the crowds of life - climb up the sycomore tree.
If it sometimes seem as if your value, worth, and dignity have been defined by your past actions and choices - climb up the sycomore tree.
If it it seem as if you can't outgrow your past or the opinions of others - climb up the sycomore tree.
If you ever felt as if you just don't measure up, or that you are not good enough - climb up the sycomore tree.

Zacchaeus refused to be lost in the crowd, refused to hide, refused to run away from who he is, refused to listen to what people will say, refuse to loose focus.
Yes! he put away pride and sentiments and ran ahead of the crowd and climbed a sycomore tree.

Whatever it is that has made you short in stature and makes you to run ahead and climb up the sycomore tree, Jesus will notice you and rescue you.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, as I climb up the sycomore tree replace my fear with strong faith, give me the solution to any problem facing me and make my case a miracle.
Shock my foes, friends, and even myself with unremitted blessings and favour in the name of Jesus.

    Bible verse: Luke 19:4
And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

    Message
How many times do you take into consideration of what the people will say or do when taking decisions?
Are you a people pleaser or do you listen to the rumours and fake news before taking decision?
Are you influenced by your environment and unwilling or unable to climb the sycomore tree?
Are you afraid to take some drastic steps in your situation during the period of troubles, instability and temptation?
When life cuts you down to size, will the wordly opinion disintegrate you from your faith and trust in the Lord?

Beloveth, if it seem as if your life is not growing, maturing, or deepening, and that your growth has become stunted, if you ever felt powerless and overwhelmed by the circumstances of your life, like Zacchaeus, run ahead, break through opposition and climb the sycamore tree.

You will experience an extraordinary manifestation of divine intervention in your affairs that will introduce an extremely outstanding event in your life.

    Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, replace my worry with mighty hope, my despair with unspeakable joy and let me be at the right place at the right time in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 25:19
Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

    Message
In this wild world, fair weather friends and men with little integrity, fearful hearts, and selfish interests are the norm.
True friends are born for adversity, and they will never disappoint you in time of trouble, but they are very hard to find and keep.
True friends are a great blessing, and they gloriously fulfil their role in times of trouble.
He will be faithful to stand and fight.
He will be faithful to stand and encourage you.
He will be faithful to stand back to back and watch your back.
That man is to be trusted with your difficulties and trials.

Beloveth, times of trouble prove whether a man is faithful or not.
A man that fears God will do what is right, without regard for popularity, payoffs, or personal advantage.

    Do you have faithful friends?
    Are you a faithful friend?
Do you know how to identify and keep true friends?
Do you keep all your commitments?
Is your word as good as gold?
Are you there to help, when a friend needs you, even if they do not ask?
Are you always early to appointments?
Do you communicate as soon as you know you cannot keep an obligation?
    Do you avoid exaggeration?
Do you fulfil your duties no matter how hard or expensive they might be?
Do you remember the little things you agreed to do?
Do you shy away from problems that will take work?

    Prayer
    Heavenly Father, please forgive me for the times I fell short in my friendship towards others;
    For the times I may have spoke and acted unbecomingly to them;
    For the times I may have treated my friends outside of love;
For the times I may have talked behind their back.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 25:19
Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

    Message
We all are going to face difficulties and trials in life.
This is where you need true friends who are reliable and supportive.

Unfaithfulness is defined as neglect or violation of vows, promises, allegiance or other duty; breach of confidence or trust reposed.
The faithless man is the one who will either run or possibly even turn on you in trouble.
The combination results of those who imprudently put their confidence in an unfaithful man is disappointment, failure, and trouble.
Trusting an unfaithful person when you really need him is just as painful, dysfunctional, and irritating like a broken tooth.
Don't forget that a broken tooth or a foot out of joint is painful, dysfunctional, and irritating.

Faithful men are hard to find, even though many men will say they are faithful.
There is only one truly faithful friend for any man or woman - the Lord Himself.
He is a very present help in trouble. He will not fail you, not forsake you and He will help turn things around in your favour.

Jesus was betrayed by Judas, denied by Peter, and forsaken by all His disciples.
Aaron compromised horribly, while Moses was in the mount of God.
John Mark deserted Paul on his first evangelistic trip.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, please bring true and reliable friends into my life.
Help me find my purpose in life and to carry myself with integrity, friendliness, truthfulness and kind spirit in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Romans 10:3
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness,
have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God

    Message
The righteousness of God is evident in the way He consistently acts in accord with His own character.
God always acts righteously; His every action is consistent with His character.
He requires absolutely perfect righteousness in order for anyone to be received by Him on their own merits.

Own righteousness is confidence you are good, competent, intelligent, and capable.
It enjoys finding or discussing the faults of others and always has opinions about others conduct.
It is the lack of thankfulness for correction and the defensiveness to resist and balk at correction.

Beloveth, confess now your self-righteousness, receive correction without rebelling, humble yourself and admit you are at least as wicked in all your ways as the worst sinner you know.
You will find the gift of God's righteousness place over you, and that your sins will be washed away and God will pour His mercy and blessing upon you.

    Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, strengthen me by Your grace and set me free from self-righteousness and ignorant of Your righteousness.
Make me strong in You and make me zealous like the three men who were zealous for You and who would not bow down to the ways of the world but worship You alone.

    Bible verse: Romans 13:8
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

    Message
Love is the fulfilment of the law and the law provides guidance about how we are to love.
There are certain principles that a spiritual believer is exhorted to put into action.
The one we are commanded to engage in and develop is love.

Let love be without hypocrisy and be devoted to one another in brotherly love.
Beloveth, let all that you do be done in love.
Yes! love should be your diligent focus because love is not only a guiding principle, but a crucial part of the moral commands, given to us by the most high God.

If you are to fulfil the law of Christ, it is only by loving others as Christ loves you.
If you are to owe nothing to anyone, except to love them it is so that you may grow in grace and walk in spirit and truth.
In clarity, you should respond to evil by doing good.
And if you love others, you have fulfilled the purpose of the law.

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, give me a teachable spirit, so that by Your grace I may learn to love all people, with a supernatural, Christ-like love.
Help me to forgive those who have hurt or harmed me, and multiply Your everlasting love for others within my heart for Your eternal praise and glory in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 20:6 contd.
Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

    Message
True character is known by present actions and results, not by self-praise, past events, explanations, or excuses.
What you think about yourself is deceiving and destructive.
And don't forget that self-righteousness is one of the most damning sins of all.
Do not tell about your personal holiness, let your fruits and persecution prove it.
Do not tell about your charity and kindness to others, let your number of devoted friends be the measure.
Do not tell how much you can be trusted, let your credit score tell the truth.
Do not tell how much you fear and love God, let your changed life and the testimony of others prove it.

Measure yourself only by action, performance, consistency, and results; focus on the actions God's word makes important, and do them only for His glory.

    Prayer
Almighty God, it is a challenge to move selfishness out of the way and look at what you are saying to me.
I need your strength, and I need your mercy.
Open my eyes to the blessings of humility.
Let me not see humility as the world sees it, but in its beauty and fullness of joy in Jesus mighty name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 20:6
Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

    Message
Indeed, men in their natural character focus their attention upon what they perceive about how good they are, focus their attention upon their own perceived goodness, while ignoring the possible goodness of others.
Yes! men in their natural character are presumptuous and pretentious concerning themselves.
Beloveth, it is not what a man proclaims concerning his character that truly matters rather, it is what a man produces in his daily conduct that truly matters.

If you have been maintaining that spirit of pride wherein you presumptuously perceive and proclaim your own goodness, rather than actually pursuing and producing godly faithfulness, you need to be zealous to repent of it.
If you focus your attention upon your own perceived goodness, while ignoring the possible goodness of others you need to repent.
Great men do not need to promote themselves, because others will do it for them.
Great men never stoop to self-praise; their praise comes from others.

    Prayer
Loving Lord, let me walk in the light, so that I can be aware of truth, and avoid stumbling over the footstool of pride that my actions put in front of me.
Help me to demonstrate the kind of attitude of respect for Your Word that is pleasing unto You in Jesus name.
