    Bible verse: Ephesians 3:20-21
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

    Message
Beloveth, have you ever asked yourself about the power that worketh in you?
Do you know the gravity of that power?
The power of God that created heaven and earth and raised Jesus from the dead is that power which is at work within us.
It is the power which sets the stars and planets and galaxies in place.
It is the power which determines the boundaries for land and sea.
It is the power that gives light to those who walk in darkness.
It is the power used by Jesus so that the blind received sight, the lame walked, those who have leprosy cured, the deaf hear, and Lazarus raised from death.
Yes! the power of God is great and awesome and it is beyond measure.

With this power in you it means that you are more than able to do God's work within His kingdom.
No goal is too high, nothing is impossible or beyond reach as you can do everything through Him who gives you strength.
All you need is seek the kingdom of God first, live a righteous life, forsake those things God stipulated that he hates.

God is ready to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think provided you walk in obedience, walk in righteousness and have faith that whatsoever you asked God in accordance to His will and you having the faith of its manifestation it shall be given unto you.
Beloveth, it is the degree of faith in you that will determine the level of the abundance of your inheritance.

    Prayer
Thank You Father for doing exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think and for granting me life-filled existence.
Give me oh Lord, ears to hear You, to understand Your power that worketh in me and to make good use of these powers to Your glory in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 23:1-2
1 When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:
2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.

    Message
There is the saying: "if a child knows how to watch his hands he will be able to eat with the elders."
And another says "Wisdom leads to prosperity and success by being sceptical in such situations."

Beloveth, if a ruler, a church leader, your community leader or a senior pastor invites you to sit to eat, be wise to know that there may be an ulterior motive in this meeting - a test and/or trap and/or information extraction, might be before you in addition to the food itself.
Only fools dive in and enjoy offered amenities or services without considering poison in the cup.

In the moment that you think it is perfectly safe and you do not need to be wise and judicious, you will find that this is the place the devil has set up for a major attack.
Therefore, always consider what is before you - where you are, what is proper, and what is wise.
Do not volunteer informations unless you absolutely have to and know when to say, No!

Joseph defied the advances of Potiphar's wife, when was with great authority and liberty from his master.
Daniel was not impressed at all by the king's wine and meats. He diligently considered what was before him and saw the danger of disobeying his God.

Beloveth, no matter how delicious the meal appears, or smells, and/or tastes, do not reduce your vigilance by relaxing your soul and do not let your appetites run loose in any situation.
Be vigilant and do not let the extraordinary delight of a situation or the luxury offered by your host, cloud your judgment or blind your soul from recognizing the temptation and danger at hand.

    Prayer
Dear Lord, I pray that You will build my faith so strong that I can stand up to any adversity in my life with great confidence.
Remind me to look at every situation from different angles, and let me know that enemies will come, but through You, I will always be victorious in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Obadiah 1:3
The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

    Message
Pride is the the belief that you are better or more important than other people or your feelings of your own worth and respect for yourself.

Beloveth, do you realize the risk of living in pride?
Pride is the only disease known to man that makes everyone sick except the one who has it.
Does criticism provokes hostility and resentment in your hearts, and cause you to fly into immediate self-justification? - You are guilty of this sin of pride.
Do you trust solely in your own understanding, knowledge, ability and believing you are better than others?
Hmmmm! You are heading to spiritually suicidal and preparing yourself a highway to hell fire.

All you have and what you are today is the make of the almighty Father who supplied all according to His riches.
The thought that with your wealth and riches no one shall be able to bring you down to the ground is an illusion. Yes! your pride will.

    Prayer
Father Lord let Your grace be sufficient for me and let Your strength make me perfect in all my weakness in the name of Jesus.
Help me Oh Lord, to think of people at their best rather than at their worst in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Micah 4:4
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree.; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

    Message
What can create fear in you? Nothing! Unless your unrighteousness disqualifies you.
Your pride, your gossiping attitude, your deceitful character are those things that the Satan loves and they are the things that make you to be afraid.
Yes! your polluted conscience will propel fear but a clear conscience is a precious and wonderful thing which will qualify you to sit under God's vine and fig tree without fear but with confidence enjoying His blessings.
Nothing shall shake you and nothing shall cause fear in you for the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
God is not a man like us that will lie or forget, He changeth not and He always keeps His promises.
Whoever sit under his vine and fig tree will lack nothing.
No more crying, no poverty, no pains and no more fear.

    Prayer
Oh Lord, take away from my life, everything that will disqualify me to sit under your vine and fig tree in the mighty name of Jesus.
Teach me your ways so that I may walk in your paths and be obedient to your Word.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 26:3
A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back.

    Message
Animals do not respond to human reasoning, but they do respond to pain.
Whips have always been used in training animals, to control the behaviour of an animal and to get a lazy horse to move.
Because horse do not always move in the direction the owner wanted, so a bridle is used.
The bit and bridle therefore controls the direction in which the horse would run.
Regardless of the animal on which it is used, the purpose is the same: it is used to direct them and guide them.

But why the comparison of the ass to a foolish person?
Because words do not work with some men.
Just as some animals need bridles and whips to control or direct them, some men need harsher methods than mere words.
Yes! they lack the knowledge of God, are often stiff-necked, stubborn, void of understanding, and rebellious against God.

Just as a dumb animal will turn around when pulled with the bit or whipped, so a foolish person will often change his behaviour when he is chastened.
The rod, like the whip and bridle, is merely God's means to control, motivate, and punish fools.

God can use any means to turn our rebellious act, and/or our captivity around. He has the best bridles and whips when our ears are deaf and eyes blind to his instructions.
God may have to use drastic measures to get our attentions.
Jonah was such a fool that required bridles and whips to make him turn in the direction God wanted.

    Prayer
Oh everlasting Father, open my eyes to see the direction You want me to go, open my ears to hear Your words and directives and control my mind to be obedient to Your word in Jesus name.
Guide me, Lord, against any circumstance that will require the use of bridles and whips in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Psalm 107:8-9
8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

    Message
Not everything that happens to us is good, but God uses everything that happens to work for our good.
Thanksgiving is the natural response to the grace and goodness of a great and wonderful God who cares and provides for us.
He is a God Who always hears and responds to all our cries for help.
He satisfies our hunger, refreshes our soul, encourages our heart and leads us forth by the better way.

God has supplied all your needs according to His riches in glory and has given you the permanently, indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and to guide, to correct and to comfort - and to conform you day by day into the image and His likeness.
Yes! God is the enemy of discontent and dissatisfaction.
Praise the Lord O my soul and all that is within me praise His holy name for His wonderful works.

    Prayer
Thank you Lord for each new morning with its light, for rest and shelter of the night, for health and food, for love and friends, for the freedom to enjoy everything Your goodness sends.

    Bible verse: 1 Samuel 1:13-15
13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

    Message
Beloveth, the sin of rash judgment and censoriousness is a very serious one.
Hasty suspicions and rash censures are very sinful and consequently, you should avoid hasty and censorious judgement and/or condemnation of brethren.
Eli's judgment of Hannah was a rash one - a very offensive accusation.
And if you find yourself mistaken in your misapprehension of your brethren, you should, like Eli, be honest to acknowledge this and endeavour to repair the error immediately.
Judgment, like vengeance, belongs to God, and to God only.

People will read different meanings to your actions, your words and you shall be unjustly censured.
    - Can you set a double watch before the door of your lips?
    - Can you still, with respect, humility and without provocation and anger explain the motives of your conduct so as to remove every prejudice?
Note! It is written "Be ye angry and sin not".

Under such a charge, "How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee", and in the rapid alternation with which the mind passes from one passion to another, it was indeed astonishing that Hanna kept her humbleness and not allowing her grief to suddenly change to anger.
Your reactions and handling of challenges, false accusations, unjustified censuring as well as your belief and trust in God will determine the level of the manifestation of that heart's desire and receiving of your anticipated miracles.

    Prayer
Dear Father, I am determined to stand firm, stay focused, put my trust in You and in humility be obedient to Your word knowing fully that casting my burden upon thee, You will remove every token of sorrow.
Set a double watch before the door of my lips and guide me against hasty suspicions and rash censures in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Nahum 1:7
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

    Message
God never promised us a life free of temptations and troubles.
Pain, suffering, sorrow, tribulation, trials, betrayal, disappointment these are times of challenge when our faith is being tested.
Yes! In time of trouble the people would run to the fortress for safety, protection and refuge; a safe harbor in the storm.

God is the stronghold. He is the only place where you can find protection from the troubles you face in this life.
No doubt, He is your stronghold in times of personal adversity.
He will give you peace in place of your anxiety, will wipe away tears from all faces.

Beloveth, where do you turn to when the storms of life rise against you and the winds of adversity buffeting your life - to friends, family members, your boss or that rich neighbour?
    Remember that when:
    - Job faced serious calamity, he turned to God
    - Jonah was in trouble he turned to God

    Bible verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

    Message
Beloveth, God is the source of all your blessings, your finances, properties, your soul.
He gives you wisdom and reveals His truth to you.
You should thank God for His word which guides you and strengthens you, for His provision, amazing grace, protection, promotion and all the blessings You have received from Him.

Living with gratitude orients you to goodness rather than complaint.
It gives you the opportunity to receiving more blessings and more favour than you currently have.
It moves your heart and focus to God.
Giving thanks also helps you, because it makes you focus your attention back to the One you are thanking!

There might be circumstances in your lives which would be improper to give thanks for but in every circumstance and in every situation of life you are to be thankful.

    Prayer
Lord, thank You for daily blessings, for rescue and grace and mercy and goodness and for a future that is full of hope and for revealing Yourself to me.
Give me, oh Lord, a grateful heart, and keep my face always turned toward You in Jesus name.

    Bible verse: Proverbs 20:21
An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.

    Message
Beloveth, we are living in a material world and the age of haste.
A generation of haste with short cuts to learning, professional life without due preparation, fortunes before labour, inheritance without understand of the true value of it.
Yes! all this foretells disaster and collapse.

God will not bless the hasty man, for he is clearly breaking a rule God has established.
Any compromise of God's rules for business, even if you think it will get you ahead, will certainly get you behind.
Don't be quite ingenious in your plans to hasten your inheritance.
The prodigal son got his inheritance hastily - handed to him on a silver platter.
He wasted his inheritance ("easy come; easy go") in the far country and at the end he could hear the grunting of the swine in both ears.

Beloveth, if you want to be as successful as God intends, follow the godly and right path to success and wealth.
Do not follow the fast track or labour to get wealth by rapine and oppression, by deceit and/or frauds, injustice and betrayal.
You might get ahead temporarily but the end thereof will not be blessed and it might be very disastrous and painful.
Wealth hastily received in any manner often results in a sad, tragic end.

Remember it is written "Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel."
If you labour to get wealth by rapine and oppression, by deceit and/or frauds, injustice and betrayal or through the fast track you might get ahead temporarily, but the end will be painful poverty.

    Prayer
Dear God, as I reflect on my life so far, I give thanks to You.
Throughout the ups and downs, the temptations and challenges, You are the one unchanging force of spirit and love who guides and protects me.
Help me to stay awake spiritually so that temptation won't catch me by surprise in Jesus name.
